Would the solar panels for the generator be susceptible to the flare/EMP? P.S. waiting for the follow-up video where you test it against an actual EMP. Let me know if Lion sends you a nuke for the review.

Solar panels are susceptible EMP/flares, but not in the same way. If you have panels with microinverters or a charge controller built in they are more susceptible. Anything with semiconductors should be considered susceptible. That said it if's a straight-up solar panel without any other technology, what what I've read it will not fail after an EMP/solar flare, however, it will suffer a loss in efficiency. I am not an expert, and I don't claim to be, but I've been looking into what is and is not a concern and I personally put solar panels in my pile of things to be concerned about. I hope this helps and if others have different facts they can share, please do! I do not want to spread bad information. My information comes from the solarreviews website and shopsolarkits. I just bought the bag off EBay, but it didn’t come with the box to put stuff in. Is there something you would recommend for me to buy as in a box I could use?

You can use any kind of box you want inside. The bag is the important part as it has a copper mesh inside of it. It will protect anything that you put inside of it in or out of a box. Hope that helps.

@@fullmoonadventureclub thank you 😊, I just bought a portable solar generator and I plan on putting it in this bag for emergencies. I was trying to test my bag out, I put my phone inside of it then had my wife dial my number. It still rang, so I may have done something wrong. It wasn’t in a box when I did it, just stuck it in there.
