They do stay together but usually only 2-3 per pride. One is the alpha breeding male. The other one or two are enforcers just biding their time until the alpha dies or becomes old and weak enough for them to take over. But they serve a purpose. The pride is stronger with several males hunting and defending the pride from roaming males.

Those LIONS were more well behaved than your normal street CATS. 👌👌 I thought this would be terrible, that all those male lions would be fighting unnecessarily over a single piece of meat. But it was actually nice to watch. Every lion knew they would get their share of the meat and didn't fight, they waited for their piece and when they got it, they took it away and eat in peace.

The 'last lion' is a mystery to me. He's the largest of them all, also got one of biggest manes, likely claws and teeth matched with the best of them, yet not overweight - muscle over mass. A food chunk lands square between him and another lion, both settle down to it without fight, but last lion loses interest. Another lion leaves another food chunk on ground to look for a better chunk, last lion moves over to inspect and licks at abandoned chunk, but again loses interest. Then finally finds the chunk he wants, but moves out of camera view and a greater distance from the initial swarm spot than all the other lions. If he was weak and thin then maybe you could make all the usual assumptions, but in his current condition - I dunno... a dark horse of some sort.
