In this tribute film, "The Lion of Lenox Avenue," The City College of New York, friends and elected officials honor retired U.S. Rep. Charles B. Rangel and the impact of his advocacy and long career. The film premiered on April 14, 2022, at the inauguration of the Charles B. Rangel Infrastructure Workforce Initiative at CCNY. The workforce development project is the brainchild of Rangel, who served Harlem and surrounding areas in Congress for 46 years. Among those interviewed on camera are CCNY President Vincent Boudreau; U.S. Rep Adriano Espaillat, Rangel's successor, who secured Federal funding for the project; Sen. Chuck Schumer; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand; Gov. Kathy Hochul; New York State Rep. Inez E. Dickens; President and CEO of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce Lloyd A.
