I have many friends who grew up Muslim (in Africa), and later received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and became very devout followers of Jesus. Each one of them told me that TWO things REALLY affected them about Christians: 1.) the incredible JOY in their worship and 2.) the TANGIBLE LOVE between the Believers, in their families, and the love each Believer EXPERIENCED from God. Genuine UNCONDITIONAL love and overwhelming joy are two things that are blaringly ABSENT in Islam, and therefore not experienced by the Muslim, yet the Normal Christian Life for every true follower of Jesus.

I have seen this here where I stay ( middle east) though this wasn't about religion a very young man was killed because he killed his Cousin and he was murdered too by the Authorities. While this movie is fine..But baptism doesn't take away sin ..That's not the purpose of baptism

(KJV) Luke 1:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. So, what does it mean when John says: the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins?

@debracarrabba1656 I am happy you asked and I believe your spirit is right. Jesus Christ is our anchor and not John the baptist. Without shedding of blood, there can be no forgiveness / remission Hebrew 9:22...even in the old testament, forgiveness is archived by blood and the old testament is the shadow of good things to come (Hebrews 10)..The whole capital elaborated more. Our sins are purged by the blood of Jesus only. Baptism is more of a marriage covenant and openly declaring our allegiance to one..Jesus Christ the crucified and resurrected and now sitting in the right hand of the Father in heaven where we are also seated with Him. (Ephesians 2:5&6) by the principle of inclusion, when Christ died we died and when He was raised up, we rose with Him. This we symbolise in baptism and this is very important for all Christians. There are more supporting scriptures but here is not Bible school and anyone having challenges on understanding Baptism should have been helped to a certain length by now.
