Icarus has the ability to make what I call puppy eyes or cub eyes. He put his front legs in a silly stance, looked at you with eyes like a street lion/dog begging for the gate to open. That was adorable. It brings be so much joy to see Meg having a great life after losing our dear Amy. Icarus must have been very patient & loving. They don't appear to be geriatrics, love makes everyone young again. ❤🦁

Meg & Icarus are in such great shape for their age. Reminds me of our newest rescue dog, who's also a senior citizen. We call her a "senior puppy" because she plays like a pup despite her age and bad knees, hips, etc. So great to see that Meg & Icarus have grown so fond of each other. It’s amazing seeing lions live to 20 and get to live a long life. Something that doesn’t happen in the wild. Unheard of finding a 18 or 20 yo lion in the wild. Now obviously they belong in the wild but when you can keep them like you do and give them a happy life I love seeing it. The saddest cases are the people that have them in cages you wouldn’t keep dogs in for 20 years. I love this channel
