We can keep our fingers crossed 🤞. I dont think Lionel will remake the same 18 aluminum passenger set. This set and other older TMCC sets are getting harder to find.

Nice layout!!! While I do not model Milwaukee Rd......I just picked up a Hudson led Hiawatha with a Weaver loco and MTH cars, 7 cars, with the cool observation car.....Love the Hiawatha!!!

This layout belongs to Dr. Fisher he absolutely loves Milwaukee Road! He models 1950s Chicago where he grew up. The set is mine and I absolutely love the Hiawatha! I think everyone need the Hiawatha in their collections! hahah Happy Railroading!

This is a great train and the Lionel version partly the inspiration for my very own custom built Hiawatha train made of LEGO! I recently unveiled it at a meetup. I have a clip about that if you're interested! :)

I have the atlas brown switch boxes and much prefer your small manual switch. Never saw one, what model from where? And very nice elevated crossover gary j

Absolutely they do! In my opinion this is one of, if not the best passenger set Lionel has made. The amount of details in every car and the locomotive is incredible! I really hope Lionel remakes this model. Another hope is if they re-release the aluminum passenger cars. Happy Railroading 🚂!!

Where did you snag that engine and cars? Haven't seen a set available for years. Excellent scenery. Wished you lived near nj, since im struggling with my atlas switch tracks. My new lionel steam runs everywhere but mth proto 1 and proto 2 steam engines have frequent power interruptions, especially at middle rail power drops on my atlas o track. Gary j

They definitely are! I do think this one will be a little bit better because of the road number specific crew talk. The cars are also fantastic. The paint matches the locomotive beautifully!🚂

Im not sure about overall square footage. However, this layout extends over 3x large rooms and even through multiple walls. Its an incredible layout, one of the best in the US. Happy Railroading 🚂!

Yes it did. They locomotive was not equipped with a steam whistle. On this new run of Hiawatha's from Lionel, the sound dept put air horns and some whistles in the sound board. Happy Railroading🚂!
