Good job building 1 out of 2 more or less junkers. I’m right there with you on converting them to liquid smoke units. It’s easily reversible if one wants the original pill unit but it amazes me how mad some folks get when they hear that someone has upgraded one lol. To me it’s worth it to do the upgrade!

I have a 1948 675 that I received (second hand) in 1961 at age 9. I am getting ready to do some maintenance work on it so I very much appreciate this video. Do you know if there are any remaining independent train stores in North Carolina? I see the one at Spencer is closing.
