@@johnknippenberg-LandmarkYards It is diecast John. I have a few Lionel Berkshire engines that are a little smaller and with 8 wheel tender like the Polar Express. I like this version better.

@@gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125 I can recommend it Gus. My model was perfect out of the box. It runs great, smokes well and the engine sounds are amazing. The whistle is unique. It reminds me of an old time Lionel steam engine. Take care.
