They did do a great job on it. Only thing that is odd is the smoke comes out of it when you us the horn instead of the whistle. Thanks for the comment.

Gold Standard that is normal for engines that also have a horn

It has the same whistle as the Legacy Santa Fe Northerns and the same bell as the Milwaukee Road S-3.

Yea I was lucky enough to pick it up when I ordered the SP AC9. New cabooses just aren't as well done.

Looks great! I will most likely be getting 3800 do the drivers go in and out of sync with each other? It sounds like it.

You can change the driver sound timing by changing the labor intensity. I believe most of the newer Legacy Articulate engines do this. I wanted to get as many different sounds into the clip as I could so I played around with the labor intensity while it was running.

It comes down to preference, I lean toward articulated engines and had this one on my radar for some time. This will most likely be my last articulated engine(naively said by every train collector ever) unless they come out with another Visionline one. The detail and paint are very good and the whistle steam is one of the best Ive seen. The spacing from the loco to the tender is amazing which looks great. The only thing I wish they had was the star on the main drive wheels like I've seen on Daylight paint schemes.

Can you run this on an O-27 curve?

Definitely not, certainly not in reverse. Ive had it derail on speed step 10 going in reverse on my O72 curves. You might be able to get away with O60 but not at higher speeds.
