Para mi este es el mejor Messi de los mundiales que jugo, tenía velocidad, pase, definición. Pero maradona lo mato poniéndolo de mediapunta o de 10 , posición en la que messi no se desempeñaba, el estaba acostumbrado a jugar de falso 9 o extremo en el sistema de Guardiola. Maradona quizo hacerlo un maradona osea lo puso en la posición en la que el jugaba, pero messi en ese momento no tenía la visión de juego como ahora era más que nada un delantero explosivo que hacía goles, poco a poco fue evolucionando en esa posición de 10 hasta llegar a lo que es hoy, así que le tenemos que agradecer a Maradona que lo hizo debutar en esa posición, pero desperdicio quizá al mejor messi de todos.

Ver jugar a Messi desde siempre ha sido un placer, alegra ver a tipos como este. La verdad es que Argentina en este mundial tenía si no el mejor, a uno de los mejores planteles de ese certamen, y eso, que Maradona no quiso llevar a Cambiasso y a Zanetti que venían de ganarlo todo con Inter. Ese mundial de 2010 fue un desperdicio completo para Argentina, Maradona no debía ser el DT, pero lo pusieron simplemente por ser Maradona aún cuando este nunca había dirigido un equipo, ni tenía idea de táctica o cosas así. Es muy diferente ser un genio del balón y del juego, a ser DT de una selección en un mundial, por eso Alemania les metió 4 y pudieron haber sido más de 5 tranquilamente. Si Argentina y Messi en 2010 hubiesen tenido a un DT serio (en ese momento estaban Pekerman, Martino, Bielsa, o cualquier otro que no fuese el infumable de maradona) muy seguramente habrían llegado más lejos y quizá, habría sentado una buena base para los posteriores mundiales de 2014 y 2018. Maradona no era el indicado para estos jóvenes Messi, Agüero, Higuaín, Gago, Otamendi, Di María, Romero, etc.

Messi était très bon dans cette coupe du monde quoiqu'il n'ait pas marqué de but. Je pense que l'Argentine aurait pu être championne du monde si elle n'avait pas un coach aussi inexpérimenté à sa tête que Maradona pars qu'en fait, en plus de Messi, il y avait Iguaine, Tevez, Arguero, Dimaria etc. Des joueurs de classe mondiale qui étaient très jeunes et qui étaient à leur meilleur niveau.
