Nice video! There's one of those old Long Island coaches out west of Austin in Llano, TX. It was used for a couple fan trips in the early 2000's but is just static display now. I got to ride the double decker coaches back in 2000 into the city while visiting a friend on Long Island. ~Ricky

You’ve got a beautiful set there! I remember all of these paint schemes very well. I grew up and still live here on Long Island. I always loved the Bicentennial and the Blue and Yellow paint schemes.

Thanks Tom! This is definitely a set I had my eye on fot a few years ans glad I was able to find the whole thing, it's definitely one I'm surprised others didn't make videos on. Fun to run for sure! I may want a second C420 at some point. Wish I got to see these C420s run back in the day, I was born in 96 so they were long gone by the time I was around

@@MattyCtrains LOL, I was born back in 1962, so I can even remember seeing the old Worlds Fair paint scheme in the late 1960’s into the early 1970’s. But when the L.I.R.R. changed to the Blue and Yellow, and the the Bicentennial paint scheme’s, that was a game changer. Those colors really popped! I believe Lionel made a companion Long Island Legacy C-420 #202 to go with your #218. The sku # is:1933461. Pairing them up would look beautiful together!
