Lionel "Swift Hot Box Reefer" Wheel bearing fire (6-29831)

This video demonstrates the cool action of this boxcar. When a wheel bearing overheats...trouble ensues. This car simulates a wheel bearing fire with crew/brakeman dialogue and simulated fire. It's very cool. It was cataloged by Lionel in its Vol.2 2006 Catalog.

Gary, I tried to open the doors. I don't think they do open. suspect the shell is from another boxcar but for some reason Lionel didn't want them to open.
