I'm glad Shambocks offspring survived to adulthood. Manyari is an incredible lioness and mom. & her sister is a really good sister too. Left the males to go find her sister and children then stayed and helped finish raising them while letting Manyari recover from her injuries. Animals really are incredible beings. I'm glad she recovered from such a bad injury. Long Live The Queen.

Why do people always have to start quoting religion when these are animal channels. If you want to preach they should be quoting scripture on religious channels not on animal documentary channels. I see it happen so often.

😢 Damn these onions!!! This is an amazing story. I'm in my 58th year of life on this Earth. I've never heard of something like this happening before! Seeing the cubs who stayed behind were killed is heartbreaking, but that is their way. I hope the cubs that left survive on their own. That Manyari survived those terrible wounds amazes me. I thought she was mortally wounded. I hope you will continue to follow both the Split Rock Pride, and the Cub Refugees (for lack of another name.) I would like to know how they fair in the coming years.

Animal societies are not that different to human society IMO. It's only once in a while you see someone that will confront danger head on and risk their life in order to succeed or fulfil their responsibilities as a mother like Manyari did. In saying that she's a very unique lioness.

12:00-12:30 or so is confusing. It had manyari on a buffaloes back with the other lionesses surrounding then when the intruder male that looks different than the one shown arrives and takes the Buffalo the landscape goes from bush to more open area and no other lionesses anywhere near. Then it shows the Buffalo being taken down then about 30 secs later she says they are still struggling to take down the Buffalo. I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt to the documentary but I really hate it when people take scenes from different documentaries and often different animals all together and try to put them together as one

The lion with the wounds,is used in so many made up storys what a shame lies.
@lancephillips584811 ай бұрын
This is a made up documentary. The first sign was the supposed fight with Shambock and the other nomads, when what was supposedly Shambock being cast out, if you look closely the featured lion was a completely different lion, the clue… his mane was bigger and thicker than Shambock. Shambock’s mane was the first thing that stood out to me because it was quite small, and I remember from a different lion documentary it was said that the thickness of a male lion’s mane was due to his level testosterone. I hope people are aware of these scamming documentaries and the silly commentary of the narrator!! “ Shambock will be angry Manyari left and took the cubs “ WHAT….that is now how animals function! Write a fictional book if you just want to tell a story instead giving false info of how a wild animal is wired instinctively
