That's definitely not the case, at least not where cannabis is fully legal. Everything is tested for purity and regulations are so tight that everything gets disclosed. You can buy recreational cannabis which may or may not be sprayed with pesticides... but again, everything is disclosed. Same with dab pens, it's regulated, so no toxic chemicals. You do have to be careful though and know what you're buying to make sure it doesn't have pesticides.
