This is the only film about such a great man, he deserves much more recognition.

I remember watching this over and over again on VCR as a kid, great film, aged well.

This is actually not bad at all. I would say it is very well done, for 1970s, especially. Something I feel that the younger generation of reenactors today are unfortunately missing. They get every aspect of the stitching, cut, and design of uniforms spot-on correct, but they seem to lack the quality in how it's presented. I know this because I am a young reenactor, but I am still just old enough to remember the older fellas and the way impressions were done when I was a kid growing up. Some things have definitely improved, especially in the way of visual quality. But still, other things have only worsened. There was a special zeal and camaraderie that was unique to the older generation that is sadly lost nowadays.

The St Padraig's Cross was not present in the Union Jack until 1801 when the Act Of Union was passed by parliament. Yet the jack depicted in this video at the fall of Fort Sackville has it. How hilarious!!!

I am surprised that frost bite and other cold related injuries didn't have more effect on the troops.

Another of many great warriors from Virginia. They say Virginia is for lovers, really Virginia is for warriors.

My dad's from Dare, VA. He and his siblings and I agree with you. Clann Fearghaille is truly that type of stock both maternally and paternally. Both of my parents are decedents of US soldiers from nearly, if not, every war since 1860. As well as some confederate soldiers and by marriage, the seven years' war. Maybe earlier since my step uncle Josiah Bartlett's ancestors came aboard the mayflower.

Not all..It depended on whose side the Native Americans were on. Indiana still has a Native American presence from the Miami who have been indigenous for hundreds of years.
