As a drafted disabled Republic of Vietnam Army combat veteran '68, I salute all Army personnel, veterans, and those lost in the line of duty. God speed. Eaglegards...

As the son of a Vietnam veteran (1965-67 volunteered in 1964), I thank you for your service. I wish my dad could see this. I know he'd like it. Why can't he see it like I can? He's about a hundred miles away in the Brockton VA hospital. They don't allow patients to have cellphones.

Godspeed @@stephenwright8824. Unfortunately, they're probably many vets in a room and cell phones are a distraction. I spent a fortnight in a Vietnam field hospital and time on a VA hospital.

Thank you for your service. My father served 4 and a half tours in Vietnam. My son, father and myself are all disabled veterans. At least 1 man from each generation of my family has served his country going back more than 1,000 years. Here in the US and before that back in England. I hope my grandsons just go to a trade school, my family has done enough.

I may have left the Army, but the Army never left Me. "We are not As People". Our training has separated us from 'people'. Forever. We cannot un-learn being... Broken, crushed, melted, burned, beaten, bent, folded, shaped, ground... And finally sharpened and polished... Into this shining, smooth, glistening Blade. Forever transformed - We cannot un-learn. A Sword IS! I Am Soldier. WE ARE SOLDIER! Always in Harms Way. Semper Fidelis.

@TheRapper10000 Punish the CCP? There will never be a war with China anytime soon. Both us and other nations rely on China for trade plus punishing the Chinese could lead to WW3. There is no doubt the Russians would come to China's aid.

I’m sorry but it’s a disappointment to me, there’s not enough information about service branches, not QM, or any staff, or enough about uniforms, or basic need’s for soldiers. There’s some credit due to the information on types of basic firearms, except, bayonet’, and the Artillery, must not exist, nor the Cavalry arm, or there weapons. This video is more of cover of American basic history, as a time line, I did go to the end. I’m sorry I can’t recommend it.

Really, French troops shown while talking about US engagements in WW1 at about 1:52?
@allandavis8201
@allandavis8201 2 жыл бұрын
Those men were American soldiers detached to the French Army, they were in French uniform but were still, technically, American soldiers, however if you notice they were all Coloured, just another example of how America disrespected their coloured soldiers as being inferior and was totally racist in their approach to them, and all the time whilst fighting against the forces of tyranny, racism, genocide and expansionism in both WWI and WWII, not to mention Korea and Vietnam, even today coloured American military personnel are not as widely employed or recognised as being equal to their white counterparts.
