Adam's downfall was inevitable, but still painful. When you see his character short you learn how there actually used to be some genuine good in him, and how Sienna Khan pushed him down the path of violence which eventually drove him into absolute madness. This AMV is rly great, and is in my opinion a great depiction of what "Lionized' is about - essentially, the way Adam sees himself. Cherry-picking the specific parts from the fight where he is on top, especially from his final fight against Yang and Blake, is a smart choice. we KNOW that showing only these parts gives the viewer a wrong idea of how the fight actually went, but that's exactly how Adam sees the world: A twisted image where he is the lone hero, everything he does is 100% justified and anyone who is not completely loyal to him and to him alone is his enemy (remember when he murdered Sienna Khan, his mentor who shared his worldview, just because she wasn't supportive of his idea of engaging in open war with humanity? And she was pretty much right about that?). This inaccurate image of the situations is, ironically, a VERY accurate image of Adam's fucked up mindset, just like the song "Lionized". An amazing work overall. Well done!

Coming back to this, this video is nearly 6000 views and it was essentially my start / first delve into proper editting. Even with this video in particular, i had no fucking idea what i was doing and i was learning as i went on. The fact this video has done so well when it was essentially my beginnings is crazy. Call me crazy but the Adam theme and Ironwood theme sounds kinda similar to each other. I mean Ironwood theme sounds more like a tragic hero trying to do what's right but will later fall due to his poor decisions while Adam sounds like brutal anti hero blind by revenge and obsession who losing his mental sanity

@@RooHD that's problem with every a interesting character on rwby who shows up, they have flaws that makes them interesting but team rwby doesn't have flaws because they're the "heroes" they don't flaws. But Ironwood and Adam was interesting because of their flaws. Ironwood is scared of Salem, he trying to do whatever it takes to protect his kingdom even making thr hard decisions, you feel for the guy. Adam originally wanted peace for his people with the humans but it later turn into revenge for his sake which later made him ruthless and crazy

I made a scene in my Rwby rewrite where in the fall of Becon both Yang and Blake are fighting against Adam. And they manage to knock Adam out on conscious. After that, the two went to go find Ruby and Weiss. But Adam then rise up again and try to attack Blake but Yang pushes Blake out of the way. And Yang got her arm cut off. Adam feeling happy, he hurt a human but then looks at blake face seeing her sadden and upset at her best friend slice off arm. Blake look at Adam face staring directly at his mask and say "You really are a monster." Adam feeling conflict over the fact the person he promised to always protect, called him a monster. And instead of trying to kill both of them right there Blake take Yang and run. While Adam stand there until a Grimm try to attack him but slices it's head off. Adam walking away with blake words still inside his head I want Adam to at least have some conflict with his decision of trying to hurt Blake and what he is becoming as a result of his blind fury. Adam never saw himself as a monster but the fact that the person he was once close to called him that makes him wonder what he really becoming.
