@@belindacowling5861 Hi....I recently started to learn about the Holy Spirit myself but something I could tell you for certain is that when we yield to the influences of the Holy Spirit, God comes to live in our hearts, mind and soul. A spiritual atmosphere has to be established in between the soul and the Holy Spirit in order to open up the heart of a sinner. Feelings of doubt and unbelief slowly start leaving when the Holy Spirit starts unveiling spiritual truths and realities to a believers heart and soul. We never walk alone when we walk with the Spirit, remember as a child of God you are anointed with this spiritual authority because a Christian cannot be oppressed, possessed, owned or cursed. It's a learning process for me everyday. Blessings.

I believe what you say, although I was nowhere near the age of 3 years old infact I was in my 40s and my son left me to go and live with his father; I was heartbroken, and whilst driving home from work I was crying so much I couldn't see, so I cried out to Jesus Christ and asked him to put his arms around me, in that moment the tears stopped because I felt a love I didn't know existed; that's the day the Holy Spirit came to live in me, Yes I have moments when I feel alone, but then there are times when I feel I could take on everything thrown at me. Yes we are very lucky to know HIM! I just wish everyone could feel that love.

Repent of your sins, ask the lord Jesus Christ forgiveness. And ask for the holy spirit. It would be good to find a church, a church that teaches from the Bible itself. And doesn't try skipping round the teaching of Jesus and the importance of repentance and forgiveness. And ask someone from the church to pray 🙏 over you.

The basis for this is Veni Creator Spiritus - a request for Him to come. You are supposed to ask. If you were baptised it was done for you, but now is the active moment. If you were Confirmed, you were aware, but may not have got full benefit at that time from that "ceremonial" occasion in your younger and more innocent days. As Jesus said, the Holy Spirit is like the wind, blowing as He will, so He comes when it suits His purpose, and that of God. With Him things (always beautiful things) add up, connect and assume meaning... In my case, I did not ask, but begged. I had just received a scary-looking medical diagnosis, and therefore begged, NOT for healing, but for forgiveness of my sins, which abruptly started to weigh me down (remember the words "intolerable burden" - they are just right, which is not coincidence but also by the Spirit). The weight was so heavy and the guilt and disgust and self-loathing so strong that I did not know where to turn and how to cope! And then I did. And I felt the energy of forgiveness and transformation, and I have been different ever since, thanks be to God. Maybe I have also been healed! I think and believe so, TBH. Not every case has to be as drastic as that, but still you need to seek mercy and love and truth and inspiration and healing and wisdom and discernment that the Holy Spirit can offer (what's not to like???) --- in the direction of encouraging us to understand the salvation, sacrifice, love and forgiveness of Jesus and the Word; and the power and glory of God the Father.
