System QB simply means Purdy probably isn’t nearly as successful on the majority of NFL teams. But players like Kittle, McCaffrey, Kittle, Trent Williams are probably very successful on the majority of teams. Put Purdy on the Seahawks for example and the overall record in Seattle this season probably doesn’t change. But any of those other players in Seattle, they are now a playoff team. So, yeah Purdy can be a system QB while those other players are not. But sure, every player thrives more in the right system.

SOME FOOLS ran that same narrative with Montana and Bill Walsh. We didn't have "Game Manager", back then it was "System QB". Would Joe have become the GOAT if he had been drafted Chuck Knox or Bud Grant? Or was he solely the creation of Bill Walsh? Would Bill Walsh have been a "Genius" if his QB had been Steve DeBerg or Matt Cavanaugh? I believe ANY QB coached by Walsh would improve (Nurture). How MUCH improvement depends on Baseline skills, what cannot be changed by practice, study, diet or exercise (Nature). Obviously BOTH are necessary to make us who we are. The percentage one way or the other depends on myriad variables. Clearly it doesn't matter how well Brock Purdy performs, skeptics are committed to giving him as little credit as possible. Damning with faint praise and/or framing the criteria to support the "Nurture" narrative. If Brock discovered the cure for Cancer, they would b***h because he didn't find a cure for AIDS.

Niners fan and i agree. I think on season performance the Niners & Ravens win, but its so damn close that if either the Niners or Ravens mess anything up and the Lions and Chiefs make no mistakes then anything can happen. If there's a difference I think if the Niners & Ravens are at their best they win no matter what because their best is better than what the Lions or Chiefs have this season. Consider that the Niners didn't get their offense going until the last drive against GB. That was the only drive they made it into the red zone. Their first 2 TD's were off long plays from outside the RZ. Then Baltimore gave up a special teams TD and that's the sort of thing you can't do against a team like the Chiefs in playoff football.

Detroit DT#54 Alin McNeill would be among the best in the game if he would more often simply raise his arms & hands when he has a free lane closing in on the QB. That way one can either deflect the pass or atleast obstruct the QB’s vision downfield. But MCNeill too often not doing so prevent Detroit’s defense from being as good as it can be. Detroit is also preventing their defense from being as good as it can be by not mixing in 3-4 alignments. The 315-pound #54 McNeill would handle things as the Nose Tackle (especially if he more often raised his arms-hands when he has a free lane to the QB) and it would make it possible to move flat-footed WLB#46 Jack Campbell to the inside where is far more suited. But these are things preventing Detroit’s defense from being as good as it can be, as does not letting backup SLB#42 Jaylen Reves-Maybin play more than #55 Derrick Barnes

The match up in the Chiefs @ Ravens comes down to Michael Pierce & Broderick Washington clogging up the A & B gap. Like they usually do. The reason why it's extremely difficult to beat the Ravens is because Pierce ,& Washington literally clog up all running lanes. I think the Ravens will win the Superbowl because running the ball against their front is almost impossible to do. The Lions are more than capable of winning on the road against the 49ers especially if they can run the ball well & force 1 or 2 turnovers. Regardless the Ravens clog up run lanes and also take away pass lanes. The Ravens are not the Buffalo Bills . You will not see Chiefs receivers running wide open like they did in Buffalo last week. The Ravens make their opponents earn every single yard they get. Plus the Ravens have 3 running backs. #35 Gus Edwards to pound you, #43 Justice Hill to explode into the seams & the closer Dalvin Cook to come in fresh and close the game out. #26 Geno Stone is a blanket defender I think the Ravens win by double digits on Sunday & advance to the Super Bowl. Everybody talks about Patrick Mahomes & Lamar Jackson but the reality is this game is coming down to running the football. Michael Pierce & Broderick Washington are almost impossible to move off their spot. The Ravens as a whole are extremely difficult to score on. They make everything difficult they force into long down & distances for example 2nd & 12 & 3rd and 8 those types of distances are hard enough to convert against a regular defense let alone an elite defense like the Baltimore Ravens.

The bottom line is regardless of who the Ravens play in the super bowl it will not be close. If it's the Lions or 49ers the Ravens will win by double digits. What happened earlier this year in Baltimore when the Detroit Lions were crushed will be another repeat performance. If it's the 49ers it will be worse than 33 to 19. Baltimore does not allow much on the ground. If you a team does not speed up the game examples such as running a no huddle or snapping the ball quickly than the Baltimore Ravens can dominate the Line of scrimmage with Michael Pierce & Broderick Washington. They are 345 lbs each. They are literally impossible to move. They Stone wall running backs. The Lions were turned away on the ground and McCaffrey on Christmas night with the exception of a 12 yard touchdown run was held way below his average. In order to beat Baltimore you have to speed the game up. Ravens Linebackers Patrick Queen & Roquan Smith are monsters in the middle. Behind them is #14 Kyle Hamilton who is 6"4 which is unheard of at the safety position making passes almost impossible to complete over the middle. You have to play a perfect game against the Ravens to beat them which is why I do not think the Chiefs, Lions or 49ers can do against them. 2 out of the 3 QB's are not really mobile in Goff & Purdy and the Ravens pass rush eats those guys up. I told everyone on Christmas night the Ravens would blast the 49ets in their own park. The same exact result if not worse will happen in Las Vegas if they meet again. They remind me of the 2014 Seattle Seahawks who won the Super Bowl. They have elite defenders everywhere & if the opposing QB does not play a literally perfect game with no mistakes than it's almost impossible to beat the Ravens unless they beat themselves. Anybody is capable of beating anyone on any given day however if you want to beat Baltimore you have to literally play almost flawless football because their defense will eventually force you into game changing mistakes.

Wait what?? Patrick mahomes has beaten a defense like the ravens with less people? The fact that this is the worst team pat has ever had is not even arguable.. So please answer me this. What defense has he played in the past 5 years? That was better than this one and that he beat him with less people. Because if I'm not a mistaken, it is up until Just recently He's had tyreek his whole career.. so plz would love to know when hes done more with less against a defense that is historic as the years ravens defense...anybody?
