Its been 1 1/2 seasons. Week 9 of the 22 season is when they found their nitch and started playing well. I wouldn't call that entire period dominate. . This year they have been dominate, however they are still having issues getting to the QB and they are giving up too many pass yards. Granted they are up alot so teams have to abandon the run and throw but there is some tightening up to do. Lions have to win the chip this year. Super bowl windows are small.

If not for our terrible pass defense last season, the Lions would've been in the Super Bowl! We only lost by 2 or 3 points against San Fran. We put up 30+ points and had the momentum most of the game ... This year, our pass defense is amongst the top, thanks to the additions of Carlton, Amik and Arnold

Right. Also, after the Ravens game, Goff said that the Lions were simply out of sync that day. He said it wasn't anything the Ravens did that threw them off. They just weren't connecting the dots. Every team has those games. I firmly believe that had the Lions played the Ravens later in the season, the Lions would have come out on top. At the very least, the game would have been much closer.
