As a Vikes fan, I know the Bears are a much better team than their record. They have lost some very close games to good teams. Games they should have won. They could just as easily be 7-4 as 4-7. They gave the Vikes a good game, and covered Jefferson better than any other team we have played.

People ragged on him for throwing three interceptions a couple of weeks ago but everyone overlooks the fact that Goff-who many consider “elite”-threw five interceptions the same day, the same amount Darnold had over his two terrible games. Every QB has ups and downs. Heck, Mahomes has thrown more interceptions and fewer touchdowns than Darnold so far this season but is still considered one of the best.

Did he play incredible, though? He padded the stats at the end there when the defense played soft because they had a big lead. He lost the game in OT with bad decision making. Without the miracle onside kick, they never would've been in OT to begin with. We're the same team we were with Justin Fields🤷♂️🤦 All of the games that were close were in spite of Caleb not because of him.

How many times do we have to see packers do that until we finally get it. The season is over so wins dont mean anything. This one is definitely on special teams. Caleb played great. A couple bad throws, but also a lot of dropped passes, and he got 11 points in 30 seconds to get to OT. I think Matt should’ve let him try to convert on 4th down in OT, though. Punting the ball away with the Vikings only needing a FG to win seemed silly with how the defense was playing by then. Keep the ball in Caleb’s hands!

I have been a dedicated Vikings fan for 45 years. First time I ever rooted for the other team in the last few minutes of the game 😅 Caleb was tearing it up out there and I wanted to see him finish off is amazing comeback. This kid was thrown into the fire from game one and has came out swinging getting better and better every game. This kid is something else. I've never seen so many young quarterbacks come into the NFL at one time and all of them are doing a fantastic job. Just hope the same for the Vikings but we'll have to wait for next year. Great game Caleb you are one hell of a quarterback RESPECT !!!! Also respect to the Vikings for playing a mediocre game and finding a way to win for the third week in a row. I agree that he needs to go. But if the bears continue to hire and fire coaches under their rookie qbs, trubisky, fields etc.. they will continue to have stunted growth. Consistency is key to any team.

Yeah I was honestly shocked the bears O line held up the Vikings D line. Although I think there was a fair amount of holding that wasn’t called but this has me worried about the upcoming teams and if our D is going to be able to pressure them if we could hardly get to the bears

Caleb is just incompetent as hell. Holding onto the ball for literally 6 seconds and taking a sack. Then followed that up by a delay of game penalty (which is equally on eberflus). That was stunningly awful. He always holds on to the ball too long, but that was mind-blowingly terrible

He's the only reason the Bears had a chance to win that game and he played great today, besides the OT drive. Over the last 2 weeks, Caleb is at the bottom of the league in terms of holding onto the football after the snap. He was #1 last week with 2.05 seconds per attempt. You can't beat that.

One good thing about this loss, is it should cement the fact that Eberflus will be gone. Caleb is showing me improvements too, giving me faith that with a new coach and better O line next year, we could possibly have a winning season

As a Bears fan for 22 years Ive seen this movie before unfortunately. The persistence to force ot is great but doesn’t make up for the dozen costly mistakes in the preceding 3 quarters. Williams has a ton of talent, toughness and is humble enough to find his short comings and work on them. I just hope his spirit isn’t crushed by crapola coaching before he can realize his full potential.
