This is just wild as a lifelong Lions fan. Brad Holmes and those guys are just adding borderline superstars to the team each year, it's crazy. Sewell and Saint in '21, Hutchinson in '22, Gibbs and LaPorta this year, and not to mention guys like Branch and Jamo who both are just oozing with potential. It's hard to believe it's happening but this is an absolute squad. Win or lose Sunday, this Lions team isn't going anywhere. You need to make the most of these opportunities but I have to agree with Kyle Brandt when he pushed back on the "win now" mentality, this Lions team is built for the long haul as long as they keep drafting this way and plugging in upgrades every season.

For real though. The 49ers run defense is not as good as some are making it out to be. 16th by DVOA and 28th by EPA if I'm not mistaken, but teams are always trying to throw to play catch up. Use the hammer and lightning, and crack that defense open on the ground.💪🦁💙
