Yes. One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing a 100 pound anyone going toe to toe with a 200 pound anyone. like one slap, one grab, one punch one kick or anything else would break the smaller opponent and the bigger one could stand there all day (exaggerating, but you get it). Seems like they did it right. Smaller opponent has to outsmart, use the environment, cheat and play dirty to have a chance. Pretending that any amount of skill or fitness could let you just box someone twice your size into submission is absurd (and often seen on screen).

I was skeptical to watch Atomic Blonde for that reason, but they did essentially the same thing. She basically fights smarter than the men and by the end she is a total wreck. They handled her fight scenes really well and it helps that Charleze pulls off action really well.

My first thought as well. Finally a movie that is more realistic on this point. Acknowledge that there is difference, and then find a way to work around that problem. On average a woman trying to outpunch a man is very unlikely. But with right timing and playing into strengths and weaknesses, a woman can stomp a man into a pulp. I sincerely hope this movie turns out good, but I’m afraid it might become another Ghostbusters (2016) or Oceans 8 disaster.
