Good evening Kevin, good evening everyone, Happy birthday Nancy for your ten years. Geena is twenty one ?!!. Amazing !😙 Congratulations to Woody for his great memory. Hugs to all three, as well as to Peter (he has nice teeth), to Ringo, to Nicholas and all the others. Hyenas are so beautiful In a previous comment, i wrote that i loved spotted hyenas. Their very particular physique ; especially at the level of the posterior which is lower than the front. I think their ears are pretty. Very nice coat. I love their beautiful smile and their laugh (that i imitate well). Hyenas are charming. Sometime ago, i learned that hyenas belong to the feline family and not to the canine family despite their appearance. They forma matriarchal society generally. It is the terrestrial mammal having the greatest power in the jaw. Kevin, your relationship with animals is unprecedented, unique. It is fascinating. You share with us a considerable amount of knowledge, tinged with tenderness. You offer them a royal life. All these beautiful beings are well adapted to their vast natural domain. I love hyena there is a wildlife rescue where I live and they have a pair of hyena and omigod I see them on your videos but they are so much more beautiful in person like I was there to see the Wolves because I never seen wolves up close before and they're my absolute favorite animal but I almost cried with sheer Joy at seeing the hyena in person to me they are one of my absolute favorite animals now, thanks kev for all you do 😊

Hyenas are spicy! Never a dull moment around the sanctuary; just the way you like it! Their interactions with each other are so intense. What you said is my general 'problem' with hyenas too. I like them but their biting each other where they are wounding each other is kind of disturbing. I know it's their way, as you said. They real odd animal creation for sure.

I'm not sure if it was the first Hyena "Meet the characters," but more than a year ago, it was my first. I left a msg saying how much my perspective towards Hyenas had changed from that single video. Since then, I have paid special attention to Hyena content and looked up info about them. My loyalties for favorite land animal are hopelessly torn between the wise Elephant and the crazy Meerkat. Understanding how closely Hyenas are related to Meerkats just makes perfect sense to me. They are 2 peas in slightly different pods, but equally special. I am so grateful to have been given an open mind about Hyenas because of this channel. Disney did a lot of damage to the reputation of Hyenas, but KR is doing a wonderful job of giving them back their honor.

The dynamics of the social lives of hyenas is fascinating. The hyena videos are some of my favorites Kevin. For some reason it always feels to me like the hyenas and black leopards are a little more dangerous and harder for you to control than the lions. They seem to be a touch more aggressive with you. I do have a question. If Nancy eventually takes over the clan do you believe she'll become even more aggressive towards you? I always feel a little sorry for Ringo because the other hyenas don't allow him to get much attention from you. Another great clip. Thank you Sir.

Hyenas Holding grudges via very vivid memories has been the most relatable piece of information in my own recent memory ! Make sense why I consider them my spirit animal. I own my own '''domesticated'' spotted hyena in the form of a 5 year old dalmatian named Perdita. She is the smiling verity at that. When she gets silly? You know about it. She will nip and growl challengingly to get your attention just like Naughty Nancy! 🤣 I'd laugh if one day, Woody decides to kick her abruptly in the snozz as a warning reflex to keep those jaws to herself... My perdi girl has done so to other dogs who have decided to try to mouth her muscles.

Love these girls! Nancy makes me a bit nervous as Kev said, she has a little 'wild' in her. My fave was the fella that brought me to Kev's channel so many years after I had seen the documentary's on Vayetse and Mufumu (can't believe I typed Mufasa LOL), his name was Nicholas. The last update we got on him was that he had mated and started a family after being rewilded. It would be lovely to hear a more current update and I'm hoping he is doing well. Good or bad news would be welcome, I think of him often when I watch LWTV videos. Love Woody, she's such a sweetheart. I play a game called Ark Survival Evolved, it's a survival game with dinosaurs you can tame as pets. In this game there are what is called Hyaenodon, I use them as guards to my castle and have named them Woody, Ajup and Luke. I also have 2 griffins named Amy and Ishca.💓

So much trust and respect they have to give you those gentle bites when you know powerful and fierce their real bites are. I've always found it interesting how animals are so aware of their power and scale it back appropriately for the situation. Carrying their young around, playing etc.

Thank you for the video Kevin. I have learnt a lot about Hyenas thanks to you. Years ago I have worked for a short while in a zoo (I was supposed to sell souvenir stuff but I preferred to go and see the real animals during my lunch time). I remember I was watching at Hyenas and I talked to them and one seemed friendly. Then some stupid people who were there for visiting said "oh they are ugly and smell bad" (what a good way to teach their kids the wrong informations about wild animals).I was very angry and I couldn't keep my mouth shut and said "not as many cowards so called humans" !!! Then I suddenly crossed the line (in all the ways) and was close to the fence and I ended up puting my hand along the fence, and the friendly Hyena smelled it without any agressivity. I said "you're beautiful and you don't smell bad sweetie". People were horiffied and leave right away. I know what I did was not allowed but I didn't put my hand through the fence. I really felt like cuddling these animals. I can't stand people saying bad things about animals. Happy Birthday to Nancy (she really has a teddy bear face). I wish all of them to be healthy. I would give 20 years of my life to live your live. Take care of yourself.
