Lip Palette Making!

hi Shiela - in the touch up kit, I always include a lipcolor and gloss along with a disposable lip brush - as lipcolor is usually the one that needs frequent touch up. Also, I include small jar of loose powder, blotting papers, and i usually throw in the waterproof mascara I used on the client.

hi melanie - concealers melts so much easier and faster, so you will have to be a lot more careful and watchful if you do this method. You can also use a hot air hairdrier to soften concealers for it to melt and mold into a palette/jar.

hey cookie - sure, you can neatly just pack the lipstick into jars, and you can smooth out the top by using a hairdryer in warm setting.

at any MAC free-standing store. Not counters at a department store. They come in 4-well, or 15 well. Also available for blushes 6-well.

Yeah - most Cosmetic counters have their version of sample jars. Just walk around the department and ask the staff for them.

heyitscharleston - I melt the lipsticks in a stainless steel measuring spoon/or cup, then I pour them onto the box/case. Watch my lipstick melting tutorial to see what I mean.

I love collecting cheap, cute containers(because I'm crazy), and my husband's work frequently gives away pillboxes as freebies, so I already have a ton of palettes! Thanks!

I have a question. The containers that you use to put your melted lipsticks in, are they from MAC? Also, if I wanted them. Do they give them to you if you ask for them.
