I just wanna say, whilst the relationship has worked in favour for Gia and Envy, to young girls who are experiencing a man that is that level of possessive & jealous in the beginning please LEAVE, that is ABUSE and you are in an abusive relationship! Not everyone's story works out this way and I would hate for something to happen to one of these young girls because they're seeing an example of a positive direction "sticking it out" can lead to. Any man that is damn near isolating you out of "love" or making you feel as though leaving him will cause him to seriously harm himself is a manipulative, abuser that's it.

Valid points. They seem really in love and I’m glad things worked out for them but some of the things expressed were cringeworthy and being normalized. Seemed to be a lot of co-dependency, manipulation, and emotional blackmail. He admitted that most of his toxic behavior was due to insecurity but yeah.

I love that she acknowledged that she understood colorism and light skin privilege. I’m light skin and dealt with some of what she did, however I’ve seen first hand how darker skin women are treated so I understand their frustration. Although it has been taken out on the wrong person, as a people we’ve been so damaged and need healing. I love Gia and I’m glad they’ve healed as a couple because Envy was really tripping at first in their relationship. She absolutely should have left his ass!

I’m so glad they spoke on the skin tone topic. People like to down play the pure HATE light skinned women get before you can even utter hello. It’s cruel, abusive and it’s colorism in reverse. Even men will try to mistreat you assuming that you’re stuck up. Pretty privilege is real regardless of complexion. It’s 2022 and people still can’t look beyond skin tone

She has so much poise and inner & outward beauty. Such a classy woman with tons of wisdom. Envy is abundantly blessed to be able to call her wife.💯💯

Angela Yee is to DJ Envy like the little sister that is always picking and poking at you. It's kinda funny tho. Gia is a super smart woman...and grounded. Great interview.

She comes off as extremely immature with her distasteful , and inappropriate jokes, comments, and questions. When it comes to these grown spicy adult topics/conversations it’s one thing to act like a lady & think like a man, but it’s another thing when you act like a man & think like a man!

Gia shouldn't have done this one. Apples and oranges. Not saying either is better, just very different. I see Gia's uncomfortable moments. Love both ladies. But not a good mash up. Too much silly giggling when speaking about regular life experiences. Just my opinion. No shade

What GIa is describing is abuse. She is just making it look pretty. So many women go thru that and don’t live to tell that story or have a happy ever after like their relationship.

She doesn’t deny that it was abuse. They’ve done many interviews and are very open and they have a podcast. She 100% knew it was abuse and agreed that she should have left back then during it.

I don’t think she’s making it look pretty. She acknowledges the bad behavior and has gone into detail denouncing it on their podcast. They made it through it but have said they wouldn’t advise their children to ever stay through that.

WOW! Ms Gia Casey is so smart and beautiful person. Ms Yee good interview with you and the ladies, first time watching. I think Dj Envy learned his lesson in all of this, and became a better partner for ms Gia and the family.

Funny how Steph tried to "relate" but her reasoning was completely different thn Gias. Gia didn't feel like she was getting in fights cus she was "so beautiful" she knew it was deeper thn tht. I love her(Gia) so much!

Right…lol. She didn’t bring anything valuable to that conversation. She tried to create a narrative that everyone wanted to fight her because she was “pretty”. Gia knew the girls trying to fight her were battling their own demons that had nothing to do with her.
