Makinis talaga ang mga roads and highways sa Lipa kahit sa mga eskinita tapos di rin tinipid ang bike lanes!

The next leading investment destination in the south! Lipa-the most populated and commercialized city in Batangas-is currently undergoing a rapid transformation as giant developers are putting up townships in this city-Ayala land, Aboitiz, Dusit, Rockwell, Megaworld townships, to name a few. With its cold weather and high elevation which prevents flooding, it's becoming a leading residential and business destination. Every 5 years, 30-40k ang nadadagdag sa population nito-truly the next metro in the south! Very eligible na for HUC (Highly Urbanized City) status.

Dude, to be considered highly urbanized, there should be at least 1500 inhabitants per square km. If you go to east district of lipa, most are farm areas. It's still far to consider lipa as highly urbanised. Try to live in Metro Manila cities so you would know what highly urbanised looks like. Whole Cities that are fully cemented and over crowded. The only urbanized area in lipa is the city proper or poblacion (bayan Ng lipa).

@@tophits7319 LOL, seriously? I don't even have to explain this kasi you can just check the actual requirements as well as how HUCs in other provinces were converted, pero since you seem very firm with your claim, here it goes.... Density is not a requirement for converting a component city to an HUC. There are 33 HUCs in the Philippines, and they all achieved this status after meeting only two criteria: population and income. Let me educate you: a city needs at least 200,000 inhabitants and an annual income (local sources dapat) of P50 million (1991 constant prices) to qualify as an HUC-not some arbitrary population density rule you're pulling out of thin air. (All of these criteria, btw, have already been met by lipa, batangas city, and santo tomas) Metro Manila cities should NOT be the standard for everything, dude. You want to live in a concrete jungle with zero biodiversity? Is that your idea of an ideal city? lmfao because that’s what most of Metro Manila looks like-crowded, chaotic, and overdeveloped. There are plenty of HUCs outside Metro Manila that have never met this density criteria you’re claiming-Cebu City, Davao city, Tacloban, GenSan, Angeles, Iligan, Butuan, Bacolod, Iloilo. None of these places are as crammed as the cities in Metro Manila (with respect to their total land area), but they’ve all reached HUC status just fine. Also, Lipa's urban area is not just the Bayan. We also have the Uptown area, Tambo area, Marawoy-Levitown area, and LIMA district. Provincial cities tend to have bigger land area anyway. If you're gonna overlay Lipa on Malabon, Pasig, Navotas, and Mandaluyong, Lipa's urban expansion is actually a lot bigger lol. Lipa’s rapid growth, ideal location, and these giant developers putting up townships? It’s all leading to its future as an HUC. So yeah, you might wanna double-check before making bold claims. 😤

@@apinezstats2237 dami mo sinabi e kinopy paste mo Lang SA Wikipedia. Then you'll tell me you dont have even have to explain??? 😅😅 You're asking me if I've been in lipa? Boy, I was born and raised in Lipa! Lipa has been applying for that for a l ong time. Why do you think it's not being approved? That's why lipa is a component and not highly urbanised city. Because it's not totally urbanised. Again, uulitin KO, it should be 1500 I habitants per square km ang main requirement. LAHAT Ng sinabi mong 33 highly urbanised cities SA Pilipinas, check all their land area so you would know why they qualified.

Lipa City is called Little Rome of the Philippines because of churches and religious groups 99.5% of the city population are Roman Catholic there are 49 parishes in all and 23 existing catholic schools, two high school seminaries, three college seminaries, and two pastoral centers. 🙂
