I’m proud of her for starting treatment early! A lot of doctors won’t even think about lipedema until the patient had already progressed to far for effective treatment. Early liposuction can help keep it from progressing again or progressing to lymphedema

Sorry, Tracey. But it's not that you can stand up mid-peocedure. Generally there are 3 procedures. 1 for the arms, 1 for the lower part of legs and 1 for the upper. And there's at least three months between procedures.

Her legs look great, they look normal not like some whose legs look deformed. The sad part is I read Lipisuction isn't paid for by insurance. Does the fat in the legs return after a period of time?

I have the upper arms, coupled with Dercum. I get tingling in my fingers when I use my arms alot. It is very painful fat in my arms, my legs, and sometimes my butt. I also have easy bruising, varicose veins, and it is so heavy. If it is too cold, I can't warm up my butt and thighs again.
