many times we say that there is net buying by the FIIs on a particular day but at the same time we say that option writing by FIIs has been done when ever there is OI increase at a strike prices... it becomes very contradictory when we say both that today FII bought and at the same time today writing has been made at particular strike price..can u pl make a video to clarify this

The haircut is different between Nifty and Liquid Bees but Liquid Bees is treated as a cash component, whilst Nifty is not.. For example with Zerodha and other brokers, minimum 50% of the collateral is mandated through cash and cash equivalents.

i try to place order for liquid bees but the charges for (stt, stamp duty,gst and other charges) are charging on zerodha. its not what you see what you get. 118.95 for 1lakh investment which is 0.11% equivalent to 10 -11 days interest. bond market is not popular in india i think due to taxes stt gst etc. Or trading cost eats significant returns on debt securities.

Can you explain taxation on LiquidBeES then. Because since interest is in the form of additional units and not cash, so the interest is not taxable. Also since the price remains the same throughout, even if I decide to sell it at some point, returns are 0, so here also capital gains taxes cant be levied. This makes it tax free, which I don't think will be true. So what are the taxation ruled applied on LiquidBeES

Dear Sir I wanted to purchase the Liquid Bees in my account, but before doing that I want to understand how are the returns on Liquid Bees taxed in the hands of individual investors. I know that the Liquid Bees trade at ~Rs 1000 per unit and on the investment the daily Dividend is accrued and it is compulsorily reinvested and number of units keep on increasing over time. So please explain how are these taxed if not sold and taxation when these are sold. Request you to please update on the taxability of returns on Liquid Bees as the DDT has been abolished now and from 1st April 2020 all dividends are taxable in the hands of investors. So please elaborate and confirm the current taxability position. Regards
