@@MyFarmingVideos you don’t. The plant/ grass will absorb it immediately. I’m just being precautions with scorching. Light rain is an insurance policy. The due age night will do also.

Just a heads up we run stream bars on the sprayer to keep from burning the crop..saves the from drifting as much. Might be worth a look?

It's called flex-N here in Australia and if you use dribble nozzles is best with it or course droplets.

Best of luck with the new sprayer Gerry. Would you make the jump and go for a starfire system with autosteer especially now with the new sprayer and dribble bar on the tanker? Would be very useful with other field work to. With precision ag now coming to the front with the high input costs fertiliser etc.

Good video! 👍 That's a nice sprayer! I have a question about spreading slurry, when you are filling up the tanker when it turns full if you turn of the PTO before you shut the valve will the slurry start to flow back into the tank and not get a full load or will there be enough vacuum in the tank to stop that from happening before you shut the valve?

Jack, the slurry tanker usually stays full after filling even if the pto is turned off immediately. It is only when the lever on the vacuum pump (spread/ fill lever) is moved to neutral that the slurry will start to flow out of the tanker and back into the tank. You are better off to close the valve as soon as you know the tank is full and then shut off the pto, to make sure you definitely have a full load. Hope this helps

Depends on the rate but try to keep it around 1.4/1.6 bar. Seems to have the best even droplets at that….

@@gerry6420when I was in Australia my boss got a new station like yours. As far as I can remember he could spray both. Only you said you had different nozzles for different applications. But you never know I’d say you can with certain chemical. 👍

I'd advise putting a submersible pump in lowest corner and a manual control switch. God forbid there was ever an issue with your liquid fertilizer, insurance and department would go to town on you!
