Keep in mind as well, that on a bank's balance sheet, your deposits are a bank's liability, not an asset. Your loan is their asset. When you pull deposits, it lowers their liabilities. Problem is it causes a liquidity crunch for them due to fractional reserve.

Banks will just lie more. My cousins kid got scammed on a rental and the bank said they can't trace the etransfer and the police don't do anything but said that the bank does know and has no privacy blah blah blah that they told my cousin. So the bank is lying -- TD in Canada -- I use a CU which may not be any better. Thanks for the discussion!

Try the RCMP fraud department. I almost got scammed for an apartment in Niagara Falls, but because no money was transferred, they wouldn't look for the guy. My friends daughter just got scammed for $500. Meridian reimbursed her and told her the account can be hacked by the banking info on it. I hope TD informed you of this. It's funny how the bank knew who donated to the freedom convoy and froze bank accounts and kicked people out, though. Such a scam banks. They're getting lazy and can't be bothered to help people now. Tell you to go online or use a machine, then get big bonuses pffft. We need to get rid of dirty cabal banks😁 Good luck❤️

Inflation, by it's nature, kills the long term lender. Community & Regional Banks don't have the A/L management teams that the large banks have, thereby, this game favors the large.. No different than the tax code, the bigger you are, the more access you have to tax lawyers to beat the rules, small platforms don't have the scale to absorb the costs... Here's the deal that you are missing, the boys that make the rules will create plan x,y,z as needed to support the system from collapsing. Happened in 2008-2009, happened again recently, and will happen again. Those boys that make the rules can't have collapse, otherwise their policies come to light and there is civil unrest.
