Growing up in Germany in the 90’s this played on the radio a lot. I remember walking into a music shop. I couldn’t remember the name of the song, so at 7 years old I started singing it….the guy knew exactly what band and went and grabbed the cd for me.

Over 5 years searching, maybe a decade to be honest. Always pops in my head every few months. I discovered this song through the radio. I still remember it like it was yesterday. It was nighttime, me and my dad went to a store to pick up something, and this song came on the radio when we drove. I was hooked to that tune ever since. Todd in the shadows from YT states it very nicely. At the end of the 90s there was a very weird transitional phase in music where there was space for all kinds of different types and mixes of music. I was 8 when my father has this song as ringtone. I asked what is this, but after a while I forgot. After a few years I heard it on the radio but I did not have Shazam so I couldn't recognize it. Today I heard a cover of it at the radio and in the middle off the song I exclaimed "THATS IT, SHUT UP EVERYBODY I NEED MY SHAZAM!". So it took 16 years but I finally got it. 😄
