Just watched this review again and noticed @12:59 you called Wuben a "new brand." They are indeed new to many of us but their boxes that are included with their lights say "Wuben Since 1981." Not sure if they have made lights since 1981, but they've been doing something since then...

That "fast and slow strobe" is termed as a "variable" strobe rate. Do like the light, but wish the beam were more focused than flood. This T70 with a smooth reflector would be my preference. Still, it's a great design.
