Liquify tool not working (how to fix) Photoshop

For those on Mac, just hold the command button on the liquify window and the cancel button will change to a default button. Press it and that will reset the settings and allow to liquify again.

Thanks much! But it still doesn't work if you have an area selected, it only works if nothing is selected. Adobe royally screwed this up and it the same on the 2019 as well as the 2020 versions.

What was the problem to begin with? Didn't liquify worr at all? Did it crash? Did it create artifacts? Probably would've been better to include that. My problem with it is, whenever I use Liquify on any kind of line art with transparent BG, the lineart gets botched. The parts of the lines diappear and get dimmed or reduced in thickness. Sometime you can also see squares and lines artifacts in the art. Driving me insane. This method did not help. But ty anyway.

sorry i'm not a professional i made this for fun to help future me if i struggled with this issue again. I made this years ago so i can't recall but i'm sure it was a really random issue i had, It worked fine at first but one day It just stopped working. I have no clue what caused it unfortunately. Sorry I can't help you! if you're looking for serious content i'm probably not the one for that I just do things for fun lol. But I apologize i wasn't a help, i hope you find a fix soon.

Try Option + Command + Shift instead of ctrl alt & shift :) I hope this works

Nice man! Thanks because it was driving me crazy. I changed the open gl preference, thinking that it was that, then restarted PS and still no change. Nothing except this worked. It just seems so ridiculous to think of hitting reset to have it display any action whatsoever. It's completely contrary to common sense of how it should work. Thanks again. I appreciate it.
