Loved the puff of smoke at Woodside, and then a Pullman, what a treat!

Great footage! It's always interesting to see passenger engines shunting around instead of a switcher.

Great view of the yard at Long Island City! Cool also that half the yard is electrified and half isn't...

This is great! I'm looking for videos that show passenger switching - could I share a clip from this as part of another video?

When a train has one engine, does it turn around somewhere or is it remotely operated from the rear most car? I'd hate to be the first scheduled engineer and have to walk the yard for my train.. Thus took some time to publish.. a summer train isn't usually made up in late January

The rear-most car has a compartment with cab controls that are similar to those found in a locomotive. That’s how these trains can run with the engine in the back. Also yes they did it take a long time to publish lol. I had been sitting on this footage for a while now.

NY Central equipment in Penn Station? That has to be first.

The United Rail Historical Society of New Jersey owns those cars. They sometimes run up the Hudson River behind Amtrak trains.
