Many trains. Tried to identify as many trains as possible. The diesels were easy to identify but the MU’s were fast and furious. Got to see M9’s on 1258 and return to Hillside on 4259. Greatest show on Long Island. There were a couple errors on the video. Train 662 does NOT stop at Hicksville and train 664 makes HUNTINGTON first stop, not Greenlawn but for many years 664 skipped Huntington.

It's amazing how different Mineola is now that the Triple Track Project is almost complete.

Another throwback..and yes at 22:22 mark that was the flying "Huntington" train i think that was the 5:35 train out of Penn.. I miss the flyover type express trains out of Penn(including skipping Jamaica}.

Great video Tim as always. Still have some your head end videos, in particular, the Mainline to Montauk video. And have dined at Moma's a few years ago. Great food.

I notice lately especially in my recent night time videos there is always one person who gives me a thumbs down. Perhaps it’s because of the floaters I get with my new iPhone when I shoot at night. I don’t get thumbs downs on my day videos. I haven’t found a way to get rid of the floaters so I guess I have to live with them unless there is a way I don’t know about to get rid of them. It’s an imperfect world and one must accept that fact. Otherwise the majority of my viewers approve of my videos so if you don’t like them, don’t watch them!!!!!!

Tim, what you call floaters or others call fire-flies are actually lens flares. Most noticible when filming at night, but anytime a camera is pointed at a bright light source. All later generation cell phone cameras - regardless of brand - suffer from this optical lens anomaly. There is no way to avoid it, except to film with a traditional camera. While the flares may be a brief distraction, the majority of your sequences are tremendously well done and thoroughly enjoyable. Keep up the great work.

@@paulmatulavich7321 seemed like my inferior iPhone 7 didn’t have those floaters. I guess it’s one of those earlier generation phones

I believe there is nothing you can do. I believe the “floaters” are from the train headlights. Although I might be wrong.

Last time I went through Mineola like this was in March 2019, I spent My childhood here seeing M3s flyby up close. The memories will remain…, I plan to model Mineola in HO.

Hi and good evening Tim!! Just so that you know just in case you ever find yourself riding on trains 562 or 564, neither of them have Mineola station stops. The next Eastbound Oyster Bay Branch train after 560, is not until 7:14pm, which is train 566. Train 566 meets up with westbound train 559 from Oyster Bay to Jamaica. Did you happen to catch trains 559 and 566? Train 566 is from Hunterspoint Avenue. Have a wonderful evening and thanks for the upload my good friend!!

Hi Tim!! I have to say that I hardly ever see train 558 with double-ended DM30AC's. Also, the new K5LLA horn on DM30AC 509 sounds scary. Nobody ever mentioned in there videos that DM30AC 509 has a new K5LLA horn. I don't go on the train too much anymore, but if I ever do, and if I meet you in person, I would love to rail fan with you. Take care and happy railroading my good friend!!

Good morning Tim and happy Thursday!! Can you please do me a favor and upload the Oyster Bay Branch Rush Hour trains at East Williston? I think your a great Long Island Rail Road Narrator because I have several DVDS from the late 1990's. It would be a good to meet you in person one day. I hope that more new DVD videos come out!! Have a wonderful weekend my friend!!

I'm noticing the C3s have been using the automated announcements as of late. Were people complaining or did LIRR fix a glitch that had them not working for so long?
