Broad shoulders are the bane of my existence. It doesn’t help that I’m 5’9 at that. I have the slender bones which isn’t seen that often in AA women. I’ve learned that deep V necklines are lovely, and contrary to what one may think high neck lines such as collarless tops look very nice. You favor Lisa and her style would look lovely on you. I adore that grey sweater you had on.

Yesss to the broad shoulders thing. I can rarely find clothes that fit my narrow figure and my shoulders + lanky arms at the same time. It's a struggle. But yes to the deep V neck and high neckline. I tend to feel lovely wearing those features. Thanks so much!

I've only recently discovered Kibbe types and it's crazy how much sense it makes. I always knew what did and didn't look good on my body just naturally, and I knew that I was the same type as Audrey Hepburn but it's cool to have a name for it and be able to explore my style further through it.

man do I miss having wild hair. I had tons and tons of curls and then I became very sick 15 years ago and the curls faded year by year. Now I have this dead straight hair that I have no idea what to do with and that I hate. It's funny. When u had my wild hair I didn't like it. Now I'd love to have it back.

thank you for this! i am new to your channel, but am a flamboyant gamine. as i get older i am drawn to sweeping maxi dresses in muted colors, which are not the normally suggested outfits for a gamine! Lisa Bonet has such grace in her beauty, and i see the similarity in your essences.

Lisa Bonet is a beautiful woman, but I don’t think she pulls off the oversized look in all her choices. They sometimes overwhelm her frame. I think her beauty compensates for those sartorial choices.
