Lisa was trained as a vocalist first but after their fellow members of 'Pinkpunk' left the group Lisa had to be shifted towards rapping because they were lacking Rappers and she was good at it. People forget that she was actually a official vocalist since debut, but she refused cuz she didn't LIKE to sing, but even tho she still gets singing parts in every song and as a person who has made many theories and is a vocal student, she actually gets the harder parts of the songs whereas jennie who is a vocalist usually gets parts with monotoned voice notes that don't require that much skill. Her technique is amazing and she has good stability and breathe control, her voice range is so fucking good like hear her hidden vocals in PWF, Forever young and See u later. Like srsly you'll be surprised that she is the same person. I think many people overlook her talent bcz of her position and quickly label her as the worst singer when she actually holds 3rd position. She is like the Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, her position was decided herself, YG kept her a vocalist since debut but she didn't WANT to sing, so ofc if she doesn't want to she doesn't have to and thus has less vocal lines than the others but no doubt that her vocal lines are always hard and those that only good vocalists can do. She is actually better than jennie (altho Jen is amazing) *no hate* I love jennie to death but if just pains me that Lisa doesn't get the credit she deserves. She should be a vocalist along with jennie too.

Honestly I think they all have pretty good voices. That's part of what makes the group so special - There are no weak links in the vocal department. That said, we all know what makes Lisa truly special are her dance skills. It's an easy (and obvious) thing to say that Rosé is the best singer and Lisa is the best dancer, but Lisa's is so far ahead of the others in dance, it makes Rosé's lead in singing seem less impressive.
