I both love and hate that I relate so much to this amazing woman. I hate it because God only knows what I've been through, keeping everything inside, afraid to concern others, because I thought I wasn't worthy of attention. And the idea that somebody so awesome had the same/similar experience really hurts me. All the love in the world to you, Lisa Cimorelli. You deserve it.

When I first heard cimorelli was in 2012. I didn't know all of their names and all that. Then I heard one of them was named Lisa which is also my name. I started watching more and more not because of her but because they write really encouraging songs that make you feel like you can be yourself and that you are worth it. I relate to Lisa's songs a lot. I have a leg illness and when her songs mention some thing about pain I feel ok with it. Thanks for the awesome music Lisa! Keep it up! We love and appreciate you!💗

I used to have literally no time for myself and I would NEVER speak up. But I didn't know why. Last year, I discovered Cimorelli and the concept of PEOPLE PLEASING was introduced to me for the first time. And that flipped my world upside down. I FINALLY realised that, these mental breakdowns were not because there was something "wrong" with me, but because I didn't give a rip(said that only for lisa :P) about myself. Everyone came before me and I slowly forgot my existence. And then Lisa put up Faded Away, and I connected to that on another level! I realized what I'd been doing wrong and tried correcting it. But i still struggled with speaking up. I still do, in fact, but it's so much better. I wanted to open up, but I needed an anthem and then LISA (angel) posted a snippet of Stand Up. As soon as I heard it, I literally stood up in my bedroom, looked in the mirror and said, "JUST DO IT." And that was the first day, I stood up for myself. And since that day, I try to keep doing that. Who knew I would be inspired by an unknown beautiful person inside out, so much. Thanks A LOT. Luv You so much. Love, Palak(15year old girl from India❤😊)

@mp_auline4 жыл бұрын
Lisa I'm pretty sure you won't see this but I just wanted to thank you for every single thing you're doing for me. I don't know where to start. First I've always wanted to wear like bright colours, multicoloured things etc but I never did because I was too afraid of others' judgement. When I start knowing you I was like omg I wanna be like her, be free to wear clothes I want !! So to start this new evolution of me I bought the tye die sweat of your merch lmao I just love it. Also, ALL your songs are so relatable to my life and mood if that make sense. Like Fading Away is definitely the most relatable I think. Then Unloved too because I feel so alone and unloved and like nobody accept me as I am with mental issues etc and it's just so hard to keep living. Fortunately, I met new friends who are so so caring and loving, so I used to listen on repeat I Don't Deserve It because I felt like I didn't and still don't deserve their love and attention. (The other songs like Florida, Italy, Goodbye and Lose My Mind I can't really relate cos I've never been in love nor in a relationship lmao). And then, you released Stand Up. This is exactly what I need to hear now because I never wanted to open up about my feelings and issues, now I can a little bit more. Thanks to you I know that if I want to talk about how I feel I can and need, and if people treat me wrong because of this I don't have to think I made something wrong because that's not true. I haven't been diagnosed but I think I have depression. I used to cry every nights (it's getting a bit better now) in my bed alone, feeling lonely, unloved, worthless, insecure, like a failure. I listened to your voice (and your sisters' ones too) and I instantly feel loved, worth, secured, accepted, and definitely not alone. Lisa you literally change/d my life. Everytime I feel bad and worthless and all that shit things, I know you're here for me. This is a feeling I've never experienced before and it's really weird and I don't really know how to explain this but you really became like a big sister for me but I mean literally like I'm sure you're gonna say "wait this girl is completely crazy" but everytime I think of you I think of you as a big sister not as Lisa cimorelli who is like my big sister. I don't know if that make sense but that's the way it is lol. Every time I hear your voice (when you sing or just talk) AND PRINCIPALLY DURING YOUR SOLO IN WHO TOLD YOU I feel like you are next to me, holding my hand tight, and saying to me "you're okay little sister, everything will make sense, you are gonna get through this hard time, you will get better, I am here for you, and I will always be I promise, I will never let you alone, I love you". It's so weird to write this because I know it doesn't make sense and you probably won't see this but I needed to open up. So THANK YOU LISA, you really save/d my life, thank you for being so true, real, honest, vulnerable, supportive and kind, thank you for being you. Thank you for being who you really are. Also thank you to your parents because without them we wouldn't have a Lisa in our lives ahahah. Words will never be enough to explain how I feel and how I love you but you really deserve all the love and happiness and joy of this world. I love you and I will always be there for you, I will always support you. Thank you thank you thank you, I love you I love you I love you❤️ Also I struggle with my cousin, I feel so bad because she makes me feel bad, she's so hard with me I'm scared to talk to her. I don't know what to do because I'm the only one of my family to know this. May I ask you if you could help me to deal with this? In case you see this and have time to answer my insta is @marie__popo Thank you❤️

While reading the description I suddenly got extremely emotional and tears are still running down my face because you were basically describing me starting in early childhood to present day. We are known as highly sensitive people who tend to be nurturing, protective, caring, we tend to observe and learn and remember the likes, interests, passions, and dreams of the people who are in our lives which we use daily towards the people we care about because we are also givers which unfortunately many will take advantage of to get what they want and they usually don’t realize or care when their actions and words are hurtful and can leave lasting and permanent scars that affect us mentally, emotionally, and even physically. At the time these things happen our immediate response is to start thinking about ways to improve, redeem, and seek approval from the people who slighted or hurt us because obviously it was our fault. Just thinking about it unleashes the flood gates of memories, hurt, and pain. I actually stopped singing because of comments that at the time came across as harsh negative criticism which was made worse in my head because it was spoken and written by people who I considered good friends and highly respected. I was 18 at the time. I am also from a larger family (#6 out of 8 children and was born 3 years after my older brother Ricky had unfortunately died of an adult form of Leukemia at the age of 5) . I was very shy and sensitive starting from the age of two. I was the child who wanted to fade into the background, didn’t like being the center of attention, didn’t want to make waves or trouble, followed every rule and regulation, and hated constantly being compared to my older siblings and not being seen as just myself. It didn’t help that I was the only child in the family with blonde curly hair and cornflower blue eyes with fair skin. I literally got every recessive gene in the family DNA. Probably didn’t help that I was born 6 weeks early and was the first baby born in the New Year in the city where the family lived at the time. Media attention from the day I arrived on January 5th. I was showered with all kinds of gifts from the various businesses in our city along with articles in the newspaper with pictures of me and my parents. I was only 4 lbs and 11 oz and was only 16 inches long so everyone wanted updates on how I was doing. All of this attention didn’t necessarily go over well with my older siblings and I didn’t know it until 2011 that apparently I was treated differently by our parents because I was like their golden child who could do know wrong according to my eldest sister. I thought that was pretty funny considering she got married and moved to a different state when I was 7 years old. I definitely got in trouble and was grounded many times during my elementary years usually because I went home with a friend and forgot to call my mom to let her know. Your song definitely resonated with me on so many levels. Thank you for sharing it with us. 👍🏻🤗💜💜
