The fact... That the memory of Lisa hanging over brad fades away in this scene. It makes me wonder if that was saying that this helped Brad get even a moment of release from his trauma or if she was there just to remind us that nothing can fix Brad.

I'm genuinely so happy this scene exists. There really wasn't enough material solidifying what their relationship was REALLY like, so this felt really necessary. Any new players that have this scene are going to have such a more visceral experience during the ending if they keep terry on. It's perfect.

For whatever criticisms I have of the Definitive Edition, I think the campfire scenes and all the new songs that were added are top-notch. "Blue Spotted Cheetah" is the stand-out for me by far.

Seeing Terry smile and hugging Brad, and see Brad blushing...This is too good to be part of the game.

One thing I find this really addresses is that there's a unique resonance between Terry & Brad because of who they are. As the game itself acknowledges, Brad is a man with a tough exterior and a wounded core. Terry is a guy with a weak perhaps comical exterior. They end up having a bond not in spite of that but because of it as Brad doesn't feel threatened by Terry, & Terry feels Brad is sincere albeit not overly expressive. It's a really good scene & I'm glad it was added.

Having to fight him in the original game is like one of two times I’ve actually been brought to tears while playing a game. This conversation is bittersweet knowing what happens later, but it’s nice to see Terry being happy

- Spoilers: the Secret Stuff - This scene parallels the scene with Brad and Lisa after the Marty fight really well, even down to the promise. Both times, Brad is closed off from the world, followed by the darkness impressed upon him by Marty and Marty’s father, and both times, if just for a little bit, Brad opens up for the people that he truly cares about. Maybe, if the situation had been different, those friends and confidants could have helped Brad to overcome his trauma completely.

I initially thought that the quote at the end of the cutscene was spoken by Terry, but after watching the Mad Dog cutscene, I think it is meant to be something Lisa said to Brad once.

Brad had known Terry for all of 2 minutes. I doubt he'd be willing to take that risk . For all he knows the Cheese Legs stunt was all just a ruse, masking his true strength.

I ended up getting the alternate Mad Dog version, probably because I sacrificed a party member in Buzzo's first ultimatum(c'mon, it was just Percy) since I was trying to A: get the remaining achievements and B: be as strong as possible for the new superboss. Dang. Well I guess that's fair enough, I chose power over love so I get don't get the friendship moment, guess I'll just have to replay the definitive edition some time!

Terry is the best character in LISA in my opinion, purely because he's just...himself. He's silly, and isn't great at fighting, but he never pretends to be something he's not. He makes the best out of post-flash Olathe because he never really had anything before it. He's living his best life, and there's something so admirable about that.
