Eva was indeed delightful, but then so were so many characters! I loved Mr. Ziffel and his 'son' Arnold the pig, Mr. Haney with his delightfully irritating twang, Eb Dawson with his clueless enthusiasm, Sam Drucker, the philosopher-storekeeper, and Hank Kimball, who could never get things right!

Oddly enough, Drucker was the sanest of them all, including Oliver.

Looking back on these clips many years later, it's clear that Eva had the talent in the family---she deftly handles the dialogue and keeps the light mood of the show, beautifully. She should be remembered for that than just for being a 'Gabor'--
