Wow, what a comprehensive video! I picked up all of them too and I don’t love them. I find them not easy to pick up on a brush, not very pigmented, and, yes, they blend into each other. I have to use my finger for any impact, even with the mattes, which is not how I prefer to do my makeup. I’m going to keep trying them with different brushes and techniques of application! I appreciated that you showed us how you learned to use the shadows as you went along and I liked Vega best on you as well!

WOWZA - This video is EPIC!! I really appreciate how indepth you've been with these shadows, what the formulas are AND how to apply them to achieve the optimal results. I've watched other YT'rs and yes, I learned some bits about the palettes but THIS vid is definitely the vid that anyone who has bought a LE palette NEEDS to watch. The application information and tips are priceless and I'm so grateful to you for sharing them with us 🙏🏻 I chose the Vega and the Myth palettes. The Sorcerer, I felt, wasn't for me as I don't wear these colours everyday. I did however, buy a whole bunch of the mattes and velvets and a few of the shimmer singles. To be honest, I really wasn't exited by these palettes. I watched Lisa Eldridge on her video explain each palette but they didn't do anything for me, not even the packaging nor the shades themselves. My biggest issue is the one pan that has no base to it and is nothing but glitter. Not everyone wants, nor uses a topper and I'm one of these. I feel that with each palette, we are being cheated out of an actual shade that has no base to it at all, yet still charged quite a high price. I understand that there have been good reports on the pigment, but as a new product to her range, feel that these palettes are overpriced. I definitely won't be shipping these all the way from England to Australia. Thanks Jen for trying all of these out.🇦🇺💖🕊

I’m returning to this video and just ordered 3 refills (Raw Sienna, Vintage Mulberry and Taffeta Fan) based on this very thorough description. I already have 3 other refills from the Cinnabar Palette based on this tutorial. Thank you so much. You helped me a lot creating my own palette for my blue/green eyes and very fair skin. Great video! Agree the palettes are super bendable. I bought 4 of them with some lipsticks. Split the orders to get two bags as well - why not! I I passed on the Myth. It's a bit dated and the rest is timeless. I use Cinnabar so much but am going to use your techniques for Vega and Sorcery. Thank you!

Thank you for such a comprehensive resource for the LE pallets. I can not imagine how much time & work this involved. I wish I could have watched it before leaving for Thanksgiving. I took my Myth Pallet & just like you, I ended up with one color. It was interesting to see how your application technique changed over time. Well done👏👏

I agree - I applied my two palettes (the Myth and the Cinnabar) with a lighter hand and did not over-blend, and the colors did not appear over-blended and all one color (muddy).

Hi Jennifer! Watching this 9 days after posting. Fantastic thorough review! I loved your explanation about water color application technique. Thank you so much for investing in all the palettes. Though you managed to create pretty looks with each palette, I would probably only use Vega. I was initially tempted also by Sorcery but, having now watched several reviews, I have noticed that Sorcery consistently creates/exaggerates texture on lids, even the smoothest lids. Thanks again!

Great review! I bought Vega and Sorcery. Will get them at Christmas when back in the States. I can’t wait to try them. Did you pick up any of her liquid shadows yet? They make such a great base on the mobile lid to layer powder shadows over. I think Daphne would pair really well with Sorcery. The liquids also look great as a pop in the center of the eye.

Happy Thanksgiving! Especially enjoyed the Vega and Sorcery looks. I’m fascinated with your discussion of the palettes blending to make a new shade; reminded me of what Hindash does with his Beautopia (sic?) palette. I do wonder how well the palettes wear throughout the day, given their various formulas. No velvet lips for me, though the colors are gorgeous. Still haven’t found a matte or velvet formula that doesn’t make my lips dry up and fall off. Thanks for a fascinating video, I really enjoyed it.

This such a great and helpful review thank you! I picked up Sorcery (not opening till mid-dec!) and have been wanting Vega too. This sealed it now I know how to get the full benefit out of the shades. I wasn’t going to pick Vega up as I have ND Glam but I feel like it has a few shades in there, as well as the nice compact size, which make it just about worth an extra gift for myself. 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️

Hi Jennifer! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I honestly found the same to be true as you are saying- there was no separation of colors, really- they all blended .. I only purchased one but was so disappointed (the color story was too pink on me and made me look sick)

I am fair and bought Muse and Cinnabar. Being fair I was able to get a beautiful look with Muse. I think both palettes looked beautiful on you. These palettes are great for daytime looks and I played around with adding a more sparkly topper from a PAT McGRATH or a Natasha Denona palette to bump it up for evening The palettes are travel friendly and I like that you can replace a shade if you use one more than the others. Lisa Eldridge likes understated looks so I can see how she liked them all to blend out easily. I also bought the Velvet Rain and Velvet Pompadour lipsticks and liners and they are beautiful. f.y.I. I just bought the Vega palette 🎉 I remembered I had a palette by Smashbox 10 years ago with similar color story. It was one of my many palettes I owned, but I used it the most. I used the link you provided ❤ I’ll have to wait to get the Isamaya palette.

I don't think they are completely refillable. You can't pick and choose and make your own palette, right? That would be very helpful from the get go.

You can take every shade out and refill it with any Lisa Eldridge shade you want. The descriptions on the back won’t match but that’s it

@@Allfeisty Just contacted their support and they did confirm in 2023 they will be selling the packages as empties so you can mix and match in 2023! I will be waiting until then.
