Vega is the brightest blue star in the northern constellation of Lyra in latin Alpha Lyrae and the closest to our neighborhood with only 25 years light from the Sun. It is such a beautiful star and at the center of everything. So yes I am in love with this palette, love the color story, love the name, everything about it screams mature alpha female. I ordered it and can't wait to receive it. Thank you for this video.

The one from Myth is about the same depth as the one from Vega, both too light for me, but I’ll dip into the other adjacent shades to deepen them. Excited to try one tomorrow. 🤓

@@mariam.a. Quick update after putting on Myth. The transition mauve is *just* dark enough for me. I think the purple undertone must make it stand out more than the greyer shade from Vega. The purple metallic (Faded Amethyst) doesn’t reflect much light, so my look (I put it all over the lid) turned out more smoky than I was anticipating, even with the sparkle topper (Illusionism). Overall I’m happy with it. Like you said, the sparkle and metallic levels are not on par with PMG, but I don’t think that’s LE’s position in the market. End of longest thread ever 😜

Velvet Duchess is gorgeous 😍 Vega is absolutely STUNNING! I love the look you did! I love that it can be more subdued-but you can always add some Pat sparkle if necessary. Oh you wait until I put some of the sparkle from Sorcery over top of Vega....drooling already. Duchess looks great on you! I agree with your comment on Lisa's lighting, because I think it doesn't show the colors in real life lighting, almost all lipsticks I got looked different from what I have expected (same goes for photos on Lisa's page), so when something launches I go and search for youtubers, to see the colors I like in different lighting and realistic surroundings to make my decision.

And I have to say, that it came really fast to Slovenia, which is usually not the case with other brands. And it is perfect 💄 for fall and winter. Haha thanks! If you like dry sarcasm, you’re at the right address. Hmm I actually still think Pat is in a league of her own. These do not compare to the baked shades in the motherships so to me Pat is still superior. Lisa’s formula is more user friendly and understated so it really depends on your taste in shadows. I love sparkly glittery goodness and Pat is unbeatable.

This is a really stunning palette and I'll definitely be getting once I've recovered from Black Friday :) I also think, since you have sorcery, that Vega would pair beautifully with the shade Swansong. As for Pat McGrath, I think Subliminal is pretty cool toned, but I know what you mean. Also, I just checked the website and the picture make it seem a lot warmer/more neutral than it actually is, which is not a complain, but I that's why it's important to watch reviews ;)

As someone who is very fair with a cool undertone, I was quite disappointed in the Subliminal palette, for several reasons but mainly because it's not cool-toned enough. The lightest shimmer in it is full-on yellowish, some of the mid-toned mattes lean pretty warm and the duochrome shade has that vomit brown base that is just so ugly and ruins the purpley shimmer. I love that even though these palettes from Lisa are not exactly groundbreaking, when she says something is cool-toned, then it is cool-toned. There are literally no fully cool-toned neutral palettes on the market, especially when you go beyond a quad and try to venture out of the luxury price category.

Beautiful Mariam! You also could have left it when you were half-way through, without the sparks, it was pretty even just that way, but both ways are stunning. I agree though, it would be better to have a lighter eyeshadow for your inner corner. Love that lipstick, I wish I could wear it! Oddly enough that blue looks grey on me, sort of northern sea blue/green/steel grey. I have green/hazelnut eyes. Blue generally doesn’t work for me. But this version actually does. Unfortunately Sourcery is no longer available :(

hmmm Pat has quite a few blacks texture-wise. You mean the ones in the Motherships? If so, then yes. But purely because I prefer this creamy texture more. Pat's blacks are solid quality too though. There is a black that reminds me of this one but it was in a older LE holiday palette from 2018.

What are the size of the eyeshadow pans? Do you know if any other eyeshadow brands would fit into the pans (e.g. Natasha Denona midi shades? Viseart?)

It's 5.7g for all six eyeshadow pans. So I think that's why the general consensus is that it's pricey.

Don't know about Viseart, but ND will not. They are more square, whereas LE are more rectangular.

The vibe is similar for sure. I think there are 2 major differences: the gorgeous and undupable textures in Subliminal, and that blue from the LE palette which is very unique and nothing like Blitz Blue.
