I know watching the film made me realize why I loved her and the group in general. TLC were the real deal even though they had their issues like every group or person does they will always be this iconic group that cant be replaced or forgotten. I like that lefteye was not a miss perfect. I like that she was real and didnt give a fuck. Its too many fake ass people in the industry now so lets just be happy that we got a bit of that raw realness from tlc back even it was for a little while. If reigndrop and her family really want to be mad as someone they need to get mad at BET during lisa's death and how they hardly talked about her even till this day. Shenyae Turner .. I disagree with that, Left Eye was one of my favorite members of the group and I don’t think that they made her out to be crazy, it was more or less their view on her at the time. I’m sure if Lisa was still alive that there would have been more to her character shown but overall they didn’t do a bad job portraying her and I loved Left Eye in the movie. I have to rewatch the mouth over the tape scene bc I definitely knew that Left Eye didn’t agree with the lyrics of creep, but I also think Lisa’s sister is hating on TLC a little bit here, Lisa’s sister doesn’t have a good relationship with Chilli and T-Boz.

They all showed their honesty in the movie. Chilli went all into her relationship with cheaten ass dallas and how she wanted a baby so bad by him anyway. Tboz went in deep about her disease and cheaten ass relationship with Dalvin. They each showed the good and ugly side of each of them. Lefteye was a very open book so I believe even if she was alive today she would have went even deeper than t and c on her personal life because the girl was very open with her life.

i feel like some of the things Reigndrop described in this interview is something that people that were intimate with the process would've known better. Sure, she can disagree in terms of how TLC group viewed Lisa's personality and the way SHE views her sister's personality. But I dont necessarily act and treat my family the same as i would to my friends, even best friends...so to me, it becomes kinda subjective thing "Lisa wasn't selfish, she'd take her shirt off for you etc"... it might be hurtful thing to watch but everyone has personality flaws, you cant expect your deceased sister to be portrayed like an angel.

I find it a little odd and almost troubling as to why reigndrop couldn't specify how much younger she was than Lisa. I guess she wants people to think she is younger than what she actually is but she apparently was born in 1973 which is only 2 years younger than Lisa. That rubbed me the wrong way, I don't know why. Like the age different could have cleared everything up with the interviewer, who by the way was a tad annoying but you reigndrop was def old enough to remember what was going on. If Tionne or Chili didn't reach out to reigndrop and lisa's mom, they are wrong and phony as I always thought they were. I just think Lisa had the wrong people around her.Poor girl. Reigndrop says that the family wasn't contacted but did they contact Chilli and T-Boz? I get that she and Lisa were close but Reigndrop can't be an expert in everything about Lisa. I know my sibling's personality but I don't know how they are at work or how they were when they were little. She didn't like that they showed Lisa getting drunk in the film but maybe that's what happened at that time. Everyone has that period in their lives where they get drunk and then they stop being the type of person who gets drunk. It happens. Obviously, she must know that Lisa is more spiritual b/c that's the side she saw of her. Maybe she didn't witness the drunk Lisa. In Left Eye's documentary, she admitted that she got drunk and would yell "Nikki." She says that no one in the family was contacted but I don't believe that. Lisa was the most talented of the group. I remember when she did the song with the other female rappers, she was great! She could have done really well on her own and that probably scared T and C. Raina should be glad that had enough respect to not go all the way in on her volatile relationship with andre. They pretty much glossed over that out of respect I believe and besides lefteye is not here to tell her story on that. She would be the only one to tell how it really went down not tboz and chilli. Left Eye was human like all of us, she even admits to being a heavy drunk in the Last Days of Left Eye documentary. I think her sister has an obvious biased opinion because that's her sister. What Reigndrop has to understand is that Left Eye isn't here to speak for herself, so this is what other people saw, not necessarily what Left Eye saw through her own eyes. Personally, I didn't like the TLC movie...being a TLC head, I thought it didn't do the girls justice. TLC is such an amazing group and it's such a shame that it was such a low budget film...hell, I would've donated a little $50 to make KeKe Palmer's edges lay down like real baby hair! Lol, that was a total mess.

I really like the movie and I thought the production of the film was well put together but that is my opinion. I would have loved for it to be a mini series because there was so much needed to be told and wasnt but it was good movie for what it was worth. Brought back so many memories and I loved that the most. I really didnt care about budget aspect of it all but just mainly the memories when music artists were real and better. TLC were the dream group. What little girl didnt want to be them growing up. Their style and swag was everything to most of us and they were all gorgeous at that. Never be another group like them and that is too bad.

She also states that she was allowed on set with no mention of anyone blocking her from being there. I feel that she's riding on the coat tails of this biopic to promote herself. I don't think lisa was portrayed in a bad light. I mean it was form the perspective of her sisters, group mates, and not from the family's side. To me It showed everything to the nitty gritty. Lisa wasn't perfect, I don't want to sound rude because she is deceased, but no living human is perfect. The acting was on point. I thought All 3 of them did a really nice job however I felt like I was watching a Behind The Music special. The movie just recapped their milestones and lisa's death. Everything shown in the movie had already been talked about a million times in interviews and such. Nothing new. Thats not always true sometimes a person tends to open up more about who they truly are around others because they may not want to disappoint their family or they think their family dont understand. Tlc were close, lefteye considered those girls like sisters even though they fought like crazy, they loved one another so much. I wouldnt be surprise if she shared more things with them than her own family, sometimes it happens like that.

Well i personally do but don’t agree with reina. 1. I do because they did sorta put lisa in a negative light being that she’s not here anymore so she can really explain her side. TLC also had quite a lot of public beef and Chilli and lefteye werent on very good terms prior to her passing due to lefteye feeling restricted creatively. Lefteye even said chilli was more of a money hungry person (take fanmail for instance). Celebrity death match just shows how the public saw lefteye as someone who wanted to lead everything not someone who wanted her ideas to actually be used within the group so i get where reina is coming from 2. I disagree because this movie is about TLC not Lefteye alone. And the people that have been around TLC the most.....is TLC. If it were her own movie then they could explain it in depth. I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of the people commenting on this aren't true TLC fans. You know, the fans who grew up with them, knew all their songs, watched every TV spot, watched every interview, and read every article. If they did, they'd know that what Reigndrop is saying is true and the film did portray Left Eye to be a bit of a villain. Left Eye was always open about why she hated "Creep," T-Boz and Chilli have said in previous interviews long before the movie that Left Eye came up with the concepts for all the albums in their entirety. She did challenge TLC about solo projects, but it was supposed to be something like what OutKast did with Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Again, most of you commenting must not be true fans, and I'm calling you out for all of the misinformation that you're trying to spread as fact. Even with all of that said, it was going to be a one-sided movie because it was from the prospective of T-Boz and Chilli. They's said that many times. That's how they saw things and what they wanted to show. Overall it was a good movie. If you want further information or a receipt for what Reigndrop said, all you have to do is look up TLC interviews pior to Lisa Nicole Lopes' passing.

I actually liked the movie and I didn't think Lisa was portrayed negatively but in saying that the family have the right to feel how they want to. But I do think it's tricky to talk on behalf of someone especially when we will never get the opportunity to hear Lisa's version of the events, she may not even have agreed with her sister's view or Chilli and T-Boz but we unfortunately we will never know.
