I have an original advertisement dated Sept.8th 1978 from when it was being dedicated as a museum for fans. It was at 1 p.m. at Hughes Air Terminal at the end of the Las Vegas Strip. Was happy to have had the chance to see it in Memphis!

They were broke and Elvis was gone. The touring revenue is what kept Elvis and everything afloat. Once Graceland opened in 1982 that started to change and the plane was moved to Graceland where the owner got a per person payment from EPE from every person who toured it.
