I’m devastated over her sad passing. Sadly the light had gone out. I understand deep loss and reading her writing, about grief, really drives home the bottomless depths, that one can go to try to find their deceased love one. I cannot imagine it as a mother. My heart goes to Riley, Harper & Finley. It breaks my heart that Elvis Life & Death was so big, that even after his passing, his daughter Lisa Marie & then her son Benjamin, were unable to get out of the direct burning nature of that light. I think they believed that the world would not allow them the Peace & Privacy that they truly needed. I pray Riley & the twins can learn to tolerate the brightness & allow it to embrace them to know they are Loved. ❤

When a parent dies young children can often enmesh too deeply with the parent they desperately needed and lost too soon before they had they chance to fully developed. Parental loss during childhood can make it far too challenging to find your own identity and carve out your own path when you’re inextricably too connected to the past and overly immersed in pain and grief. Early parental loss can cause extreme psychological and emotional paralysis. There’s grief and then there’s life altering loss. It’s obvious Lisa found it virtually impossible to cope with the never ending chaos and instability that ensued after August 16, 1977. Suffering two incalculable losses like that left her struggling to recover for the rest of her life. I can relate.

I have watched Lisa Marie grow up to be a Beautiful woman. She has had to deal with so much heartache 💔 😢. I can't even imagine how she feels after losing her son. (Who looked exactly like her Daddy Elvis) She puts so much feeling into her songs. Her voice is Sultry and Soulful and I don't think that there is a female singer out there who could duplicate her unique voice. I have her Cd's except for this one. I can't seem to find it anywhere in any store! If you go online the cheapest one I've seen was $67.00!! Are people trying to cash in and make money off of her because of the song to her son? In my opinion that's awful!! I would love to have this Cd but unfortunately I can't find it anywhere. Lisa Marie is very unappreciated and underestimated. So many of Lisa's songs are about Michael. I Was Wrong, Just a Dream, Gone, Indifferent, Now What and Weary are all about MIchael and are heartbreaking. She is extremely underrated. Lisa Marie has a great voice. She uses her alto voice style well. However, in the song "Silent Night" I found the mix to overwhelm her voice at some point in the song. Video good but the mix on this song overshadowed until the point where it was hard to differentiate her voice from the accompaniment. Otherwise, I love her songs and wish her the very best. LMA
