Michael imitated Elvis in almost every way and it was revealed during a Larry King Interview that the Jackson kids went to see "all of his movies" when they were growing up. That's 31 movies were talking about. James Brown doesn't have any movies. I love James Brown but MJ obviously idolized Elvis Presley, Graceland/Neverland, King of RNR/King of Pop, married his daughter, imitated a lot of Elvis' wardrobe and singing mannerisms and even dance moves. The guy was obsessed with Elvis just like Nicholas Cage was. I feel bad for Lisa Marie, people have always wanted her just for her father and never acknowledged her as a human being herself.

Reality check, Elvis was imitating black artist who were not as famous as he which are artist that Michael have been influenced by. Those similarities that you mentioned are not similarities but things others came up with for him. Elvis is no major influence, I like him too but fact is fact. Michael dated Whitney Houston, Brooke Shields, and would have dated Princess Diana if he could have, if he was so obsessed with Elvis and married Lisa only because of it, he would have took Lisa back after their breakup. According to her and Michael she was chasing him for years afterward. Lisa is not the first woman Michael proposed to and wasn't the last. Kingsherry No you said he imitated other people which isn't true. Every entertainer copied him. His style was his own. As for black music, whatever that is, I call it blues music, not black music. He was obviously influenced by it. His first song was Thats Alright Mama/Blue Moon of Kentucky which was a blues song that he turned into a country song and a country song that he turned into a blues song. MJ never mentioned Elvis' name before, not even when he was with LMP. Which is only more proof that he idolized him and wanted to take his place as the greatest artist of all time. He had insecurities about Elvis but you can easily see he copied many of his wardrobes, styles, dance moves, lifestyle, etc. I don't think any of those kids are his to be honest. Blanket MIGHT be his child but Paris and Prince are 100% not his children. Half black kids do not come out with blue eyes and brown wavy hair and white skin. All I know was he wanted LMP's children, she wouldn't do so. He used her for what he wanted to be "royal babies" and she used him for fame. They were both in the marriage for the wrong reasons. When LMP wouldn't bear his children and MJ wouldn't co-sign her as a star, they both saw they weren't going to get what they wanted and split.

Maria Mena Well, I feel bad for her. She didn't had the chance to express her own identity. I personally think she was a great person. I somewhat relate with her. To me, that letter puts LMP in bad light. I read that letter and it seemed she was a nag! MJ literally was pleading with her to let him have some sleep, pleading with her that he hadn't slept for 4 days and that sleep was needed cos of his health and he still went ahead to tell her he's crazy about her in that same letter. I'm not surprised she was evasive in her response. Seemed they loved each other but there were other factors absent to make their love last. Michael would cry to Derby that Lisa was making his life a living hell! He would leave home for days cos they were having arguments. Michael was stubborn too and wouldn't give in hence; the no more advice. LMP was too controlling and a little proud. She was too strong a personality for Michael. She also played Michael as MJ had told her he wanted children from day 1! She didn't want to have his children then why did she agree to marrying him? No need to cast blames now anyway. I really love Mike but he's no saint. Don't victimize him. At some point, he has some fault too at what happened to his life. Even though he is talented, he is flawed just like us. Hell, he is messed up as fuck! I personally think that he cannot love someone wholeheartedly unless he love himself. For me, he didn't love himself, that's why his marriages failed. Loving children was his way to love himself. He didn't want to be corrupted adult person but he is. Everyone is corrupted. We are human amd we make mistakes. This was a tragedy because Michael knew what true love was in his heart. But didn't know how to make it work in this world. She loved him without a doubt and if he had stuck it out which all real love needs, no more attacks would have hit him half as hard. I am sure she would be a great rock for him if he just stuck it out. I think the divorce damaged both their lives more than you think, and yes Lisa Marie Presley was heart broken to drop Jackson off her name. He didn't know how to make love work in this atmosphere he lived in. I also think Brooke Shields would have Married him if he asked. And even MJ was full of love for many things.
