The Robertsons find comfort in their faith and each other as Al shares the news of his wife Lisa’s breast cancer diagnosis. Zach points out that it’s natural to grieve, though as Christians, we grieve with a sense of peace and hope because of our faith. Prayers for Lisa & Miss Kay , I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer June 2023 . They can’t cure it , but try to control it . The Dr. said I had months to years to live . I have come back to Jesus after a life of back sliding . Jesus has given me a new heart and I have repented . God has provided for my wife & I ( I can’t work and have retired ).I have forgiven many who have hurt me over the years . I try to soak up the Bible , love going to church and have found it is a daily relationship with Jesus , I understand love now . I am ready to go home anytime , and Jesus has given me such PEACE ! I thank God every day that he gave me a chance to come back to Jesus before I died . I love everything Robertson , your family is such a blessing and inspiration! The Unashamed is one of my favorite .

4 different rounds of chemotherapy, 3 eye surgeries, 2 lung surgeries, tracheotomy, feeding tube, broke back, car crash, and the list can go on of my life. But Philippians 4:7 is the verse that says why I can laugh at it and still smile. I have the peace that surpasses all understanding given unto me through Jesus.

I will be praying for Lisa. I just lost my sister January 21st from breast cancer and just had a scare of my own. They found a lump in March. Yesterday I had my breast ultrasound and it was not cancer. Just a cyst. Praise to Jesus!

Al my pastor’s wife is almost through her 2nd bout with breast cancer, she is doing great and has a good prognosis. We the deacons have anointed her and our pastor with prayer as a group on several occasions, it’s such a blessing to be able to pray for one another and see the results! I’ll be praying for you all! I had uterine cancer in early 2019, followed by chemo and radiation, returned in the lung in 2021 and have been on immunotherapy treatments since the lung surgery. Prayers have kept me going. Lisa will be in my prayers and also Al. Al always comes across as the caring brother and will be great caring for Lisa now.

Just want to share with you that my youngest daughter came through a very difficult fight with breat cancer, she was in her 50s and I’m not going to tell you it was easy but we covered her with prayer and she has been cancer free since she finished her treatment! She has to still take strong medication for hormones because it was that kind of cancer! But Praise Jesus she is cancer free!

Dear Lisa, I too had breast cancer and a mastectomy in 2017. I had a nice talk with God and put it into his hands. I prayed that God would be with my loved ones and His will be done. My momma was 74 when she was diagnosed. I went to pieces when she told me. That woman looked at me and shouted at me "NO more tears this is between me and God." She had 18 rounds of chemo and 40 of radiation. Not sick one day and I still have her today at 88 and she is still cutting grass and growing her flowers and vegetables and painting the inside of the house this past winter. I am a blessed child and I know that it was our Lord and Savior❤
