This was such a beautiful episode. I love how your guests honored one another and how much gratitude the men expressed for their sister. What a great example! Their connection and love can be felt through the screen.

I remember Rebecca came to sing at our church in Texas back in the 90’s and several of her brothers were running around all over the place setting things up. My oldest daughter just loved hanging around listening to their accents. I think most of the crew was family and just the nicest down to earth people.

This is a bittersweet episode for me; I'm an adopted member of the Robertson family so I'm insanely blessed to have brothers there for me...but if y'all could pray for me because my biological family is NOT at all connected; my own sibling has at one point tried to kill me and now is bottom feeding off my mother, who suffers from the onset of Alzheimer's... Its bittersweet to hear this family say that the boys eventually bonded as brothers like they should because my own hates me...but I'm extremely grateful to be a Robertson by initiation. Thank you for praying for me, y'all. And thank you for reading this.

Praying for you Taylor, Jesus loves you & so does your family. He gave you them, whatever it is just lay it down at Jesus feet and love them. Show them the love of God and it will change them & help them to love you & themselves. I pray this helps. Just forgive and love that's all that God requires of any of us✝️♥️ I know it's not always easy but it can be done. Greater is he Christ Jesus in you than he in the world 🌎 you maybe the only example of Jesus to them! ✝️🙏🫂♥️♥️♥️

I saw Unsung Hero tonight at AMC Altamonte Mall 18 in Florida. That theater did NOT list the movie when I tried to find it. I had to go back to you promo trailer to find it. Sadly, there were only 5 people in the audience. This movie is too powerful and well done to leave it off the movie listings.

We were catching up on missed episodes this weekend and this was one we watched. I read this morning 2 Cor 4:7 and I couldn't help but think that the deep emotions that the Robertson and Smallbone families feel when they watched the movies stem from the things found in this verse. How can you not be moved when you see how God took you, a clay jar, with all of the faults and failures, to display His glory, for His purposes? Help us all keep living out our lives as clay jars Lord. Empty us of ourselves, fill us fresh up with your Spirit. Use us for Your glory today Lord, for Your purposes 😊🙏❤️

I feel like.. sometimes things just shouldn’t be said. I remember when i saw the clip of him apologizing to them lol & just found it to be unintentionally hurtful. Its a bit tacky & unnecessary to let people know you haven’t taken them seriously. Kinda rude. I knew that movie was gonna be fire, bc i know Joel Smallbone is a freaking creative beast. No one can stop him, the man is brilliant. Theres a sense of trust that the best give to their audience. You don’t have to wonder if they’ll do good. You just know. I guess that comes with being a fan.
@conniehutchison46107 ай бұрын
I can say I cried so many times watching the movie..how much courage it took for them to travel as a family.. the apologies from the parents and helping the kids believe through their struggles.. As a widow and mother of three(2sons and a daughter) all married now but not serving the Lord they were raised with. 🙏Thank you so much for the movie..

My wife and I saw the prescreening prior to their LA Christmas concert in December. The movie, Unsung Hero, about their coming to America was an excellent film. Without any qualifications my wife and I give the movie two thumbs up. My son & guy friends who've seen it thought it was extraordinary. This movie reflects our own faith and amps up our own courage to overcome life's problems. A great Movie ... take the moms in your life for Mother's Day!

I've never watched one of your podcasts, I did just watch your movie about 2 weeks ago the blind. And then yesterday watch the unsung hero on mother's Day. So I didn't know all this about for King & country I loved Rebecca St James. But I didn't know that was their sister. So I did some research on them and this podcast came up. And I have truly enjoyed watching Joel be so uncomfortable. Probably wondering why they were brought on this podcast. Since Jase literally done all the talking. And probably made him feel less than a man... I love both of them, and just enjoyed watching all the body language...pure entertainment. Thank you.❤

I recently got to see For King And Country in concat at the Houston rodeo. What I found amazing was that the tangible presence of God was there in the middle of a rodeo where most people were drinking beer and just watching the bull riding. I'm a former missionary to the Marshall Islands. I recognized God's presence. What did they do that bought in Gods presence when most people didn't want any part of God? That was true ministry.

I must say that im very envious of ya’ll as my family was split apart and fractured beyond repair in 2009 and as a result of that i no longer have a relatioship with my daughter but my 2 boys came and apologized for the hurt that i was dealt through a cheating wife and as a result of that i turned to cheating as well because i figured if she can cheat and get away with it why cant i. I have since made my way back to Jesus and put a stop to cheating. But i pray for my daughter that she will find forgiveness in her heart
