Oh Lisa, you were part of my acid house days soundtrack with the extended mix of ‘live together’ I loved that song and I heard it played with Larry Heard and Italian deep House tunes back in the day. It's the same for a lot of singers I think - even for US singers regional accents can disappear when singing. But I agree, it must be weird for non UK people to hear her speak 😁 Check out Rick Astley (biggest hit was Never Gonna Give You Up), that's another shocker!
